Photosynthesis is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy that, through cellular respiration, can later be released to fuel the organism's activities.

The CO2 represents Carbon Dioxide 

The H2O represents Water

The CH12O represents Sugar

The O2 represents Oxygen 

Plants use the energy of the sun to change water and carbon dioxide into a sugar called glucose. Glucose is used by plants for energy and to make other substances like cellulose and starch.

Carbon Dioxide comes in through the leaves

Oxygen comes out through the leaves 

Water comes in through the roots

Light Travels in waves and is made up of different colors

Light is mainly made up of Blue, Green and red.

Chlorophyll gives plants their green color because it does not absorb the green wavelengths of white light. That particular light wavelength is reflected from the plant, so it appears green.

Light energy is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Light consists of photons, which are produced when an object's atoms heat up. Light travels in waves and is the only form of energy visible to the human eye.

The main factors affecting rate of photosynthesis are light intensity, carbon dioxide concentration and temperature.

Photosynthesis is affected by light, temperature, water, and CO2. Stomata affect the process of transpiration and do not affect photosynthesis.

Their roots take up water and minerals from the ground and their leaves absorb a gas called carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air. They convert these ingredients into food by using energy from sunlight. 

 Photosynthesis creates all of the energy that fuels living organisms. Animals that eat plants acquire their energy from the stored sugar in plants, and animals that eat those animals obtain that same energy.
