The first snowflake had just dropped from the sky. It was like the sound of a bell ringing for the village. It was finally time for the animals to start building their refuge for winter.

They needed to create families of five. In their igloo, there were two owls, Birdy and Coupy who were brothers, Gustave the fox, the squirrel named Sunny and Lucky, the bear. They
all have been friends since
elementary school and since
then they decided to live
together. It has been almost
five years since they lived
in the same habitation.

Lucky has always been the most reliable since he was the oldest and the strongest. All the hard tasks were assigned to him and for this year, his goal was to build the igloo. Birdy and Coupy were like little children, there were always a lot of things going on with them. They liked to explore and fly for most of the time because they felt heroic while flying

Gustave was very cunning, he constantly found ways to escape from his tasks, but for now, he was still on the decoration of their igloo. Sunny was the funny one, he was also the smartest and this year, he was tasked to go get the food and provisions for the group and because of his knowledge, he knew every shortcut and pathway that led to the food.

Sunday morning, they had just woken up when they all met up outside to finish the construction of their hut. They made ice cubes and assembled them to form their little habitation. They returned inside to create the rooms like the bedrooms, the kitchen, the bathroom and a living room. When they finished, they went back outside to see their hard work and they noticed that something was missing.

Oh no guys, we forgot to add a chimney!

Don’t worry, we can fix that! We just have to take the branches over there and build one.
Santa will not be able to come and put our gifts under the Christmas tree. We won’t have any presents this year!

The night passed and when they woke up, the chimney was on the floor. The big winds had blown that night. They needed to find another way to make the chimney stronger before Christmas, because if not, they won’t have their gifts on the 25th.

My brother and I could go see Santa and ask the elves what they can do about it!

Yeah good idea!
Sunny, go get provisions
for their trip! Gustave, go
get a map so they won’t get
lost during their journey!

It will be a two-three
days trip, so they need
to be well prepared to
go to the North Pole!

It was the morning of the departure for the two owls. Everybody wished them good luck and a safe travel.

It has already been a day that the two owls were flying. They started to be tired but they couldn’t give up because they were out of time. The little snowflakes that were currently dropping had become a huge blizzard. They were stressed because it was a big mission for Birdy and Coupy. The closer they were to the North Pole, the more the conditions were getting worse.

They looked up at their map and they were shocked. All this falling snow and these hard winds have got them lost. They were losing their trajectory by going to the West.

They saw under them a big cloud of smoke so they went down to go see and it was a little cottage. They darted all the way down to look for their path to arrive quickly at the North Pole. After a quick nap and a good stew from the family living there, they continued their trajectory.

Do you see what I see, Coupy?
Yeah! We finally made it! Look, it's Rudolph, with his red nose!

Coupy was blown away by the beauty of the reindeers. He no longer knew where to pay attention.

Let's go Coupy! We have a mission,we need to stay focus!
At this exact moment they heard an old
man's voice behind them. They turned
around and they were shocked by what
was in front of them. Santa Claus in person!

Oh Oh Oh, what is happening my little friends?

We want your help! We want gifts for christmas !

Wait wait wait, not everybody at the same time!

Okay let’s start from the beginning. We built an igloo and we forgot the chimney. We tried to build one, but it fell, so we need your help please!

Don’t worry my friends, I have a solution for you, come with me.

Birdy, Coupy and Santa Claus went to the workshop where the elves were working. They pushed the big doors and they saw everyone who was working on the gifts for the kids.
