Every day, Gabby plays with her teddy bear! Gabby loves her teddy bear! His name is Nova the Bear, and he is absolutely perfect! 

But oh no! He has been lost for the last few days. Gabby is very upset about this disaster and won’t accept it! She searches all the rooms in her house and the playground. Nobody seems to know anything about Nova's disappearance.

 Gabby can't remember where she left Nova; curious, she asks her mom.

 Mom says, "Don't you remember? you left Nova in your room. 

But Mom, I looked and didn't see him! I can't see my floor; it's so dirty!!

 Mom sensed something must have happened when her daughter told her that her room was dirty. Mom replied: OK! well, let's grab and the broom and clean it together. Gabby was so excited; she couldn't wait to find Nova.

Going into Gabby's room, they see that it is as messy as it can be! A big pile of toys is on the floor, big and small, in different colors. A big mess indeed. Mom says, OK, Gabriella, let's start cleaning! 

They started cleaning her room. Gabby was so happy; she sorted her toys from stuffed animals to building blocks, biggest to smallest, and placed them on shelves.

Her mom said softly to her: Gabby, you're doing a wonderful job. While busy cleaning, Gabby saw a pile of dust in the corner and grabbed the broom to clean, remembering that her mommy uses the broom to make stuff clean.

Gabby hoped that Nova was in the box. Her Mommy cleaned off the box and asked Gabby to open to the box. Wow!!! There was Nova in the box all this time, behind the pile of dust. Gabby hugged Nova tight and close and said: Now don't go away; stay with me forever. Mom even smiled.

Later at Dinner, Gabby's Dad asks Where's Nova? Panicked, Gabby looked around and saw Nova sitting on the couch. Dad, "he's on the couch; he's there!" Gabby gave her mom and dad the biggest smile!!! 

That night, Gabby was so glad that Nova was back home and safe. Whenever Gabby gets mad, she thinks of that happy time and can't wait to see Nova.
