Once upon a time, there was a group of best friends that lived in a small town in New York. Their names were Kylie, Savannah, and Lily. The three best friends were very close to each other and hung out every day. Whenever they had the chance, they would be together.

"Pass it here!!"

Anytime you saw them they would be together, they worked together in school, even if they weren't supposed to. After school, they would do their homework together and just mess around.

"Lily you need to clean your room!"

"ha ha ha!"

One day when Kylie was walking through the hallway of school she heard a few people staring and giggling at her, she thought this was weird. At one point near the end of the day, she heard tiny whispers of a few girls, but she couldn't understand what they were saying. Kylie thought that she was a pretty nice person,  so she didn't think people would be talking about her. 

"Look at her she looks so weird."

"Get to class kids!"

Once Kylie got out of school she immediately went to see her friends and tell them what was happening.

Savannah said to Kylie, "Kylie I'm sure nothing is happening you're probably overthinking it."

Lily chimed in and said, "That's weird, I'm sure they were laughing at something else."

"Everyone was 

laughing at me!"

That same night Kylie went to her friends Savannah was feeling really bad about herself. Savannah then remembered what she had said about Kylie to the other girls.

Earlier in the day Savannah was talking with the popular girls when they started to talk about Kylie. Savannah wanted to act cool in front of the popular kids so she said to them, "Oh yeah Kylie is really weird and no fun to hang around."

Woof Woof!

The next day, Kylie was walking through the halls when one of the popular girls shouted, "We heard what Savannah said about you!" At this moment Kylie was hurt because she would never think one of her best friends would ever talk about her behind her back.

Kylie immediately ran to Savannah's house after school to ask her if she would actually say something like that.

"Did you start a rumor about me?"

"I am so sorry Kylie I didn't think they would say anything about it."

Savannah and Kylie got into an argument about the rumor Savannah started. 

Kylie burst into tears and started yelling, "You are my best friend Savannah you are supposed to be there for me and have my back!"

Savannah then said, "Kylie I wasn't thinking I was just trying to act cool in front of the popular girls."
