One cold morning during deer season a boy 

named joey was hunting and saw a wolf.He 

didn't shoot it because it ran away to 

quick,but other than that he didn't see 

anything.So he went back to the farm when 

he got home it was time to feed the 

sheep.When he was feeding them he noticed 

that one was missing he looked everywhere 

and finally he found it,but it was dead.He 

instantly knew the culprit the wolf he had 

seen that morning.   

So he told his Dad and he said that the 

sheep would have to be kept in the pen.Till 

the wolf was gone.So he went and put them 

all in the pen.When he was walking back he 

heard a scream and ran to it he saw the wolf 

chasing a little girl.So he ran over and hit it 

with a stick,and it ran away so know it was 

clear what he had to do he had to get rid of 

the wolf.

So he told his father then he set out following the wolfs 

tracks.He tracked through woods,water,and many other 

things and finally they just disappeared.So he went 

home to find another sheep gone so he went and ate 

supper then to bed so he could start his journey again 

tomorrow.

When he wakes it is raining and he goes to get some 

breakfast because he knew this would be a long journey 

and he couldn't do it on an empty stomach.Then after 

wards he packed his bags and told his dad bye and that 

he would be gone for a while.

So as he was walking his neighbor johns dog came 

running up to him.So he decided he would bring him 

along on the journey to get the wolf.Then they continued 

on and decided to eat lunch about 12:00 so he found a 

spot by a stream under a big oak tree there he ate a 

sandwhich and gave the dog one too.

So then they continued on to find the wolf.They found 

some more tracks and started to follow them.The dog 

was a tremendous help on tracking him because once he 

got his scent he started going after him all over the 

woods they searched until night then they stopped and 

set up camp.

when they woke up it was pouring ran so they had to 

wait for it to stop.So while they waited they ate some 

apples for breakfast.The rain didn't stop till 11:00.When 

they came out they saw all the tracks had been washed 

away.So now they just had to look everywhere for him.
