The jungle had always been a great home for all the animals. For
as long as Benji the monkey could remember, there was a place
for everything and a job for everyone.

Each animal had a specific job that only that animal
could do. The monkeys, like Benji and his parents, had
an important job. They watched over the community
from high in their trees. Keeping the peace and
everyone safe.

While Benji and his family watched over the
land, the elephants told everyone what to do
and made all the rules.
RULE #189: No animal is to be out pass sunsetRULE #624: No animal is to leave the east side of the jungle.

One day Benji's dad took him to a part of the east jungle
he had never seen before. Benji's dad told him he was
going to be graced with more responsibility.
"You are at the perfect age, Son, it is time for you to
learn the ways of our land. You are to be the next
Keeper" He told Benji.

Though Benji had never heard of such a job as a Keeper
before, he knew it was important and something for his
father to be proud of. As his father instructed Benji met
the current Keeper in the new part of the jungle the
next day after breakfast.
The Keeper Monkey was an older Monkey, older than
any Benji had met before. He had a beard and wore
glasses. Things usually not allowed in the Jungle. He
also possessed a purple mirror.
"Hello Benji! I am Liam the Keeper of all things. I will be
showing you things no other animal has seen before.
Everything you learn here is a secret and must remain
so" Liam proclaimed upon Benji's arrival

Over the next few weeks, the Keeper showed
Benji many amazing things. Through the mirror
Benji saw the West side of the Jungle. There
the Keeper showed him animals Benji had
never known existed.

"Those are called Humans," the Keeper
instructed Benji. "In other parts of the world
they live amongst animals. They provide them
with all kinds of things," the Keeper continued.

Benji asked the Keeper many questions:
"What are humans?", "Why have the elephant
leaders kept them from us?", "What are all
these amazing things the humans posses?"
The Keeper answered all of Benji's questions
with no hesitations. Everyday he showed him
new things, everyday Benji had new questions,
and everyday the Keeper answered them.
