On a cool winter day, Dex and Cam were hanging out together while playing an open world game. Since they had already finished the story of the game, they felt there was nothing left to do.

As a result, Dex felt extremely bored and decided to speak up. He said, “I want to play a new game, I'm tired of playing the same stuff.”

 "I know a game we can play together that's really fun!”, Cam said. He introduced him to a new video game that is skill based.

The game was called “Stack-It-Up” and the point was to stack up blocks. The blocks would get smaller and change directions to make it more difficult.

The tempo would move faster and go slower to change the game as well. Since Cam had played this game for a lot longer than Dex, he was much better at it.

Dex wanted to have fun playing this new game Cam had shown him, but learning all of these new skills felt like climbing a mountain that he could not get to the top of. 

Even while feeling like this, Dex still said, “I’m going to beat your highest score! So don’t get too comfortable!”

After Cam left, Dex continued playing the game. He felt determined to become a super good gamer.

Dex showed the game to his mom and said, “I want to be super good at this game!” His mom said “Dex, you have to learn to manage your time, but I know you can do it!” Afterwards he took off to play the game once again.

That night, he spent a large amount of time playing the game and fell asleep late. As a result, he felt very tired the next day and learned a very important lesson. He learned to manage his time better. 

After school, he decided to take a break from playing the game. Little did he know it, Dex made a great choice. He needed a break to improve at the game.

Instead of playing the game, he decided to hang out with his amazing pet pig, Hoochie Mama. They hung out for a while and then he decided to go eat dinner with his parents.
