Do YOU know why being kind is important? Well, if you don't, I'm here to tell you why it is. 

Some people are going through hard times. Everyone has different lives. I know a boy whose parents died and people make fun of him in school. I don't know why exactly they think its fun to pick on this boy, but one thing I do know that it doesn't give a good impression on yourself if you are MEAN!

What did we learn on the last page?

We learned that being mean will put a bad impression on yourself. Being mean is so uncool!

Story time-

I know a girl who thinks being rude is cool, and it really makes her look bad on the inside. 

Now, another reason that being kind is important is because it gives another reason to keep someone going. Even if it's just a simple compliment! For example "I love your new haircut!" or even "Hey! Nice shoes!"

Review

Being kind means so much to people. Giving compliments is a good start that you could practice everyday!

You may think that people will think you are uncool if you're kind, but really it's very cool! Trust me, I'm going into high school soon, and believe me, being kind will get you so much farther than being rude/mean. Being kind will also affect your mental health.  It reduces stress and brings a new perspective and deepens friendships. Hey! you may even start new friendships or even relationships!
