Today was the first day of Theresa’s new job
as an invention builder and engineer.
Theresa was a fairy and lived in Pixie
Hollow. Theresa was blond and had
glittering blue eyes which matched her
wings, with a fun personality. Theresa loved
building things and creating her own
inventions and was glad to finally have a job
that let her do just that. She worked at Fairy
Innovation, which was a very successful
business. Right now Theresa was just a builder
and helped inventors create their inventions.
Soon she wanted to be a real inventor.

She was settling into her new office and decorating it
with furniture when she arrived. After she had
settled into her apartment she began building
inventions and setting appointments with the
inventors. Then another fairy working in the
building came to her office. “Hi,” she said cheerfully.
“I was wondering if you would like to get lunch
later?” she asked. "Wup de do," Theresa thought
happily. Theresa then agreed and got back to work
happy that she was making new friends and wasn’t
going to sit alone at lunch.

As the hours passed, Theresa went to eat lunch with
Misty. She then noticed a sign and became very
excited about it. The sign said, “Calling all Fairy
Inventors! Please come to our Invention Convention,
to present you inventions and see the unveiling of a
new revolutionary invention that will change the way
of inventing. Also our company will launch a new
brand of items with selected inventions from the
convention!” "Wup de do!" she thought. This was her
chance to become noticed and a real inventor! She
excitedly told her new friend Misty, who was happy
for her, and after lunch Theresa started working on
her invention. Her invention was going to be great!

The day before the convention she got there and
went to the register. A fairy man with pale skin
and black oiled hair signed her in and then asked,
“What is your job miss?” “I’m a builder at Fairy
Innovation,” she said. “Well then,” the man said
sarcastically. “You are not allowed to come to this
convention for it is only for inventors at your
business and that are professional too.” He said
with an evil smirk. Theresa was devastated. She
then walked away tears in her eyes with despair.
That man was mean and she hated him.
