Kathryn Ashley March

My name is Kathryn Ashley March.  Everybody calls me

Katie

The name Kathryn means "pure".

The name Ashley means "dweller near the ash tree meadow".  

The name March means "boundary".

My birthday is August 28, 2013.  

I was born in Reading, PA, but I have always lived in Pottstown, PA.

Did you know I am a twin?  My twin sister's name is Molly.  I was born one minute before her, at 6:52 p.m.

My family is made up of my mom, my dad, my oldest brother Alex, who is 13, and my next brother, Jack, who is 11, and Molly.  

I spend a lot of time with my Mom-Mom and Poppy (my mom's parents) and my Gram and Gramp (my dad's parents).  They live really close to me.  

I love my Aunt Karen and Uncle Dave, my Auntie Tine and Uncle Chris, my Aunt Lizzie and my Uncle Ryan.  I also have fun with my cousins Maddie and Evie.

I am energetic because I do gymnastics and I love to do the bars and the floor.  It's so much fun to do round-off back handsprings and swing on the bars!

I am kind because I have lots of friends and I love them all.  I always try to be nice and do good things for other people.

I am creative because I like to do art projects like painting and making slime. 

My favorite season is summer. 

My favorite color is teal.

My favorite number is 13.

My favorite sports teams are the Phillies and the Eagles.

My favorite food is watermelon.

One activity I love to do is gymnastics. I have competed and won medals! I play softball for the Coventry River Cats.  I play the viola and sing in chorus, too. I love to go to the beach!

Holiday Traditions

At my house we celebrate Christmas. Every year we have our elves Elf and Merry, and our elf babies, Snowball, Snowflake, Elphy Jr., and Jake come to our house.  

We always go to Longwood Gardens to see Christmas lights.  We go to church and sing lots of Christmas carols.  We have 2 big Christmas trees in the living room and sun room, and I have a little tree in my room.
