‘’Wow!’’ Bunny exclaimed to herself as she looked up at the flying birds on the hill, that her burrow was on. ‘‘I wonder what it would be like to fly up in the sky?’’

‘’Bunny!’’ her mother called out for her. ‘’It's time to come home’’ she yelled. Bunny then swung around and waved to her mother.

She gave one last gaze up at the flying birds and went back into her burrow, ready to dream the night away. 

The next day… thump, bang, tumble! Bunny's ears rose as she heard those noises on her roof.

She quickly ran outside, ignoring her mothers yells to stay inside where it's safe. ‘’Please Bunny! Bunny stay inside where it's safe. It could be hail or an earthquake!’’

Bunny then climbed on the roof of her burrow to see a magnificent green bird holding its wing and wincing in pain.

‘’Hello’’, Bunny whispered to the green bird, but he did not give a response, he only looked up before looking back down at his wing.

‘’Does it hurt?’’ Bunny asked. The big green bird gave a slow nod.

 ‘’Here, I'll go get a few bandages for you’’, Bunny said with a kind smile.

 Bunny came back with a first aid kit. She  took out a few bandages.

Bunny then slowly wrapped them around the bird's wing.

‘’Thank you’’, the bird said. You could tell he meant it. ‘’What's your name?’’ Bunny giggled. ‘’My name is Rio’’, the bird answered… ‘’and yours?’’

‘’Bunny’’, she smiled.

 Then without any warning, the bird jumped up ready to fly. Woosh! He was gone...up, up and into the air. ‘’Bye!’’ Bunny called after Rio, but only she could hear.

She then hopped down from the roof and ran back inside her burrow.

 Bunny excitedly told her mother, father and five other younger siblings about the strange big green bird she just met.

 ‘’A big green bird? We have never seen such a thing!’’ Bunny's father exclaimed with his mouth open wide. They could not believe it but she promised it was true.
