One day there were two friends, Macy and Eric. Macy was over at Eric's house when Eric's mom walks in to ask the two kids a question 

"Would you guys like to come to the store with me? I am looking for a dress for a birthday party later on. "

Eric and Macy looked at each other with a lack of interest.

Eric's mom saw the lack of interest and quickly included, "I'll buy each of you something for yourselves!"

Mhmmm...

Toys?

Macy and Eric took another look at each other, and in unison yelled, "YESSS!"

YESSSSS!!!

On their way to the store, Eric and Macy discussed all the possible things in the store and what they would like to pick up. 

When they made it to the store, Eric and Macy followed Eric's mom around the store for a bit so she could find what she needed. Finally, they were able to head over to the kids section and pick their toys.

Uhhh, just want some toys

Finally Eric's mom brought them over to the toys section where they picked what they wanted. 

I want the Lego man!

"Eric and Macy, it's time to go pay and head home, are we ready?" Eric's mom asked. Macy, still struggling to make a decision, didn't know what to do. She really wanted both toys but her limit was only one.

I don't know what I want

Then, Macy looked up at the fully stocked shelf of Lego men and thought, "They wouldn't even notice if one went missing, right?". 

Without thinking any further, Macy threw the Lego man and ran up to meet up with Eric and his mom. 

They won't even notice

At the register, Eric and his mom put their stuff down for the cashier while Macy began to sweat a bit. 

"Hey Macy, put your doll up on the counter so my mom can pay for it." Eric told Macy, "It's not like you want to steal it, right." Eric said as he began to chuckle at his joke.

Macy panicked. "Does he know?" She thought to herself. 

"I'M NOT STEALING!" She yelled back at Eric. 

Frightened, Eric turned to Macy, who was now shaking and beginning to cry.
