Once upon a time, there was a girl named Charlotte who loved
all things fashion. She had big plans to make it big in New York
City as a fashion merchandiser, someone who bought clothes
for a big company!

Charlotte had a big party coming up,
and her friends asked her to
dress them for the party! She was
so excited, because this would train
her for her four year college career
for a fashion merchandising degree!

Being a fashion merchandiser could get her
anywhere from 50,000 dollars and beyond!
Picking out clothes for her friends this weekend
will benefit her in so many ways!

This job is perfect for Charlotte because it allows her to embrace her artistic side
as well as work with numbers when buying for stores and boutiques! Fashion
Merchandising is something that will never keep her bored! It was Friday, and
Charlotte began thinking of how to style her friends for the party!

Charlotte started her day thinking like
a real fashion merchandiser. She got
dressed and headed into the city. She was
in hectic stores shopping for the latest trends.
After a long day of shopping Charlotte
added up the totals of the clothes and was
ready to begin her styling!

Charlotte hoped her friends like the clothes she picked
out, because this job was so important to her. This job
gave her the opportunity to help express peoples
personalities while making them feel good about
themselves at the same time!

With shopping bags in hand, Charlotte raced home to
dress her friends, and they loved the outfits she dressed
them in! They were all wanting to know more about her job.

Charlotte's friends asked her
more about what fashion
merchandising could do for them
if they majored in that too! She had
a cool fact for them: fashion merchandising
can get more than a job in fashion! There are
many other cool jobs to get, like marketing and
being an accountant! Her friends were amazed!
