My workplace looks like a office or garage with 

many musical instruments and tools. My 

workers and I listen to the broken instruments 

and change the sound to make it match piano 

pitches. We work with all sorts of instruments 

like woodwinds, brass, percussion, and 

guitars.

  To work here, we have to know what each 

pitch sounds like and be able to match it to the 

instrument note. A background in musical 

playing is useful and from working here we can 

always help others with broken instruments 

outside of the workplace like if your friend 

breaks a string on their guitar.

  This job is awesome because we get to 

work with instruments and do what we 

love all day long. You can learn to play 

them and even make up your own tunes!  

  A typical day at this job is helping others with 

their instruments and fixing their things. It 

makes them very happy to have new 

instruments and all your friends will come to 

you when they need help. It is always a great 

feeling to help others out! 

  This job is very important because it 

helps entertainers keep going! Everyone 

loves music and wants to listen to it and you 

will be there to help them listen to it. It is 

exciting and always going fast, with many 

instruments to handle and learn from!

  The money I make can be up to $30,000 a 

year. Can you imagine doing something super 

fun all day long and getting paid to do it? It is 

a dream come true for me.

  Most people who do this go to a college and 

get their degree in music performance or 

education. Some people just go to high school 

and get their degree, and almost none have 

less than that. So if you want to do this, you 

should work hard and go to college! It will 

definitely be worth the work!

  People who work here usually dress in comfy 

clothes like nice pants and button up shirts. It 

is casual so I don't have to worry about 

dressing up everyday which is great!

  A few interesting facts about working here is 

that we meet interesting people every day who 

teach us about music! It is so much fun to 

learn new things and help others with their 

favorite hobby!
