The story of a child with a grudge against animals who gets to know them at the farm and changes his mind.
Dedicated to Micheal Jordan because he is the GOAT
The theme of James Goes to The Farm is not everything that sounds bad is bad.

James just looked at his duffel bag full of clothes, as his mom called him.

"James are you ready yet?"

He walked down his creaky stairs to his dad's car.

"Well are you ready to hit the road?"
James climbed in the car without even replying to his dad.

He thought about how he was moving to a farm with a bunch of dumb animals.

After an hour of James’s parents singing songs, they finally made it to the farm, and James hated every minute of it.

So as quickly as he could, he got his bag from the trunk of the car and went inside their house.

James locked the door to his bedroom because he was mad at his parents for making him move to a farm.

He just laid on his bed, listening to the roosters making their annoying calls, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

James jumped out of bed and looked outside to see what was happening. He saw his mom and dad petting the cows, and they looked happy.

MOOOO

James couldn’t believe that they could have a smile on their face while being so close to animals. His parents saw James looking from his bedroom window and asked him to come outside with them.

"You wanna come down here?"

James didn’t like the thought of being close to the gross and dumb animals but he still went down to his parents. When he made it down to where his parents were, he made sure to keep his distance from the animals.

But his parents were encouraging him to come closer and pet the cow, and after some encouragement James finally went up to the cow and started petting it.

“This isn’t that bad”
“His head feels like a soft pillow”

“Can we go see the other animals?”

"Of course we can!"

They all made their way over to the pig pin.

"These pigs smell like a garbage truck," James said, which made his parents die out laughing.
