Beth is nice, funny, and fun to be around. She is superpretty. She is almost perfect. She makes some mistakes,
but not a lot

You are so funny2

One not perfect thing about her is that she is poor. She lives in a poor place with her parents and grandparents.
She doesn't show she is poor because she is always happy

3

Greta is the exact opposite of her. She wants to be perfect but she is not.
She is not the richest girl but she is spoiled.

I have all the money!4

She gets everything she asks for from her parents. She lives in the moderate neighborhood. Everyone in
school wants to be her.

You bet I will
Do my chores Mom

5

If these girls met it would be a disaster. It was a disaster. Beth just moved houses and
she had to move schools too.

6

She doesn't know anyone in this new city she is in. All she knows
is that she needs friends to not be
the one that gets picked on.

If you come near me you are dead
Not him7

Beth is desperate for friends soshe goes to school and tries to find
some. She doesn't know who is a
good friend and who she should
avoid so she is super worried.

8

One day she went to school and Greta notices her. She thinks that
Beth is pretty so she walked up to her.
They become “friends” and talk everyday.

Okay?
You are cute so you can hang with us
9

The next week Greta notices thatBeth is poor and lives with her
grandparents. She confronts Beth.
Beth is scared to tell her because
she is cool right now.

So I hear you are poor10

Beth tells her that she is really richand that she wouldn't be pretty
unless she is rich. Beth lied!!

No I am rich and pretty. You cant be just one.
11

Greta gets bad grades and Bethusually gets good grades. If Beth gets
good grades she will not be cool anymore
thought Beth.

How can you be failing? You are a good student!
I can't be cool if I have good grades

12

Beth was the best at math. She is now failing to show that she
is not a geek and that she can get into
a collage because of her wealth.

13

Beth really wanted to be consideredcool so she would disobey her parents
and do whatever she wants to do.

Clean your room.
No14

When Greta came to her houseBeth would be especially mean to her
parents. Her parents hated it.

She is so rude
They are so weird15

One time Beth's parents told her she was grounded and Beth said “you can't tell me that,”
another time she said “Whatever.”

Your grounded
Who cares16

Beth's parents hated Greta because she made Beth be a jerk rather than a
nice girl. They didn't want to do anything
about their friendship though.

Ya, she has no respect for Beth
Greta is being mean17
