Ostrich saw, and used her powerful legs to run fast. She saved the egg and put it back in its home.

Duck saw, and was amazed. The friends all continued with their walk.

The friends were talking about what they enjoyed. When Turkey spoke up. 

    "I am proud that I have a whole holiday to myself." Turkey said.

    "What Holiday is that?" Duck asked.

    "Thanksgiving!" Turkey said back.

Duck was happy that her friend, Turkey, had a day for him and his other Turkey friends. Duck was grateful to be friends with Turkey.

The friend continued their journey. When Spix Macaw started talking about her home back in Rio. She talked about The Carnival In Rio De Janeiro.

Duck felt excited to hear and learn more about Spix Macaw. She hoped that one day, they could all join Spix Macaw to see the carnival themselves.

The friends soon stopped by a tree to rest. Duck looked over at Peacock. He was cleaning off his feathers.

Duck has always loved how beautiful Peacock is. Duck sometimes wished that she was as beautiful as Peacock. 

Duck started wondering what she had that was special about her. 

Well Duck was thinking she started gathering food for her friends, as she wanted to make sure they all had some food to eat.

Duck asked her friend Peacock.

    "Peacock, you are very beautiful. I wish I had your beauty." 

Peacock looked at his friend with a soft smile. "Duck, you are just as beautiful as I am. Inside you heart and outside on your feathers." Peacock said.

Duck was happy.

    "I think you are beautiful inside and out as well. Thank you for sharing your love with me. You are a good friend." Duck said to Peacock.

Duck walked to Turkey.

    "Turkey, is the food OK? I made sure to get the kind you like." Duck said.

    "Yes, it is perfect. You always treat me so kindly." Turkey said.
