thank you for telling me, my mom, and her twin these wonderful stories.
The theme of Sticky Stephanie is tell the truth.

Sticky Stephanie goes to babysit her nephew John, and makes a HUGE mess around the house. Will she confess to what she did?

It was early one summer morning when the phone rang.
“Hello?” answered Stephanie.
“Hey Stephanie,” her sister, Mary, replied. “I called to ask you for a favor. Would you be able to babysit John this afternoon?”
Stephanie said, “Of course! I would be happy to come over! WOAH!”

“Stephanie, are you alright?” asked Mary.
“Yeah, sorry, I got twisted in the phone cord.” Sticky Stephanie said dizzily.
Mary said nervously, “OK! See you soon.” As Mary hung up the phone, she worried that asking Stephanie to babysit was going to be a mistake. She was a bull in a China shop and made a mess wherever she went. Surely she has outgrown her childhood nickname, Sticky Stephanie.

John was sitting on the stairs excitedly waiting for Aunt Stephanie to come over. He hasn't seen her for many years and couldn’t quite remember her.

All of a sudden Stephanie walked through the door.
Mary said “Hey Stephanie! John, do you remember Aunt Stephanie?”
He shrugged. He was only six after all and it had been years since he had last seen her.
Stephanie ran up to John and hugged him. “Oh John! It has been too long! You have grown like a weed!”

“I’ll be back soon,” Mary said as she walked out the door . “Call if you need anything!”

“What do you want to do first, John?” But before he could answer, Stephanie said,”I know, let’s make some cookies!”

Before John knew what was happening, the kitchen was completely covered in flour! His mom was going to be so upset!

“Can we play outside, Aunt Stephanie?” John asked politely.
Stephanie yelled, “Of course! Let's play on the trampoline!”

They both jumped up and down until…
PLOP!
Stephanie was too heavy for the trampoline and popped a hole right in the middle!
“Aunt Stephanie! We broke the trampoline! What are we going to do?” John asked nervously.
Then Stephanie said, “It is ok. Let's go back inside and color!”

They both went inside. John went to get the markers.
“No! John, let's get out the paint!”
John was hesitant because his mom didn’t like for him to use the paint when she wasn’t home, but Stephanie sounded really excited about this idea.

“Ok, I will go get the paint box.” John said hesitantly.

“John, look at this beautiful flower!” Aunt Stephanie called, but as she turned towards him, she knocked over the tub of paint.
