Michelle was born in Chicago in 1964. Together with her parents and older brother Craig, she grew up on the south side of Chicago. Her family was close-knit and supportive, and they always pushed Craig and Michelle to be the greatest versions of themselves.

Fraser and Marian Robinson, Michelle's parents, taught their children to work hard, be polite, and speak up for what is right. They pushed their kids to perform well in school because they valued education. Both of Michelle's parents were active members of their neighborhood and instilled in their kids a sense of responsibility to improve the world.

Michelle was a dedicated student who enjoyed going to class and worked hard to get good grades. She also liked reading and writing. She kept a daily journal and loved reading books about powerful women who changed the world. Michelle had a lot of questions because she was very curious about the world.

----------------------------------

Michelle attended Princeton University where she studied sociology and African American studies. She felt out of place in her class a lot because she was one of the very few African American classmates. Michelle didn't let that discourage her though. She put in a lot of effort, made new friends, and gained a lot of knowledge about herself and the world around her.

Michelle continued her education by enrolling in Harvard University's law school. Michelle was committed to succeeding despite the challenges she faced. She was one of the best students in her class as a result of her hard work. While attending Harvard, Michelle got to know a guy named Barack. He held the same beliefs she did and wanted the same things as her. They soon fell in love and got married.

Michelle practiced law after completing law school and helped others who couldn't afford it. She also volunteered at an organization that supported students who were having trouble with schoolwork. Michelle enjoyed using her talents to benefit others, and she was understanding of the impact she was having on their lives.
