Chapter one

                                                                                           Jerry

My name is Jerry. I woke up early, so I went downstairs and played fetch with my owner, Tom. I was happy because Tom's school and my school didn’t start until 9:00 A.M. Tom is in twelfth grade, so his work was really hard. Afterwards, I would go to dog school. Then, I saw my BFF, Benson the dog. “Hi Benson, want to play with me?”  He said yes. We played for over an hour. It's been a long time since I last saw him. 

Soon it would be time for Tom's school to start. I wanted to play tag with Benson for a very long time. By now it was time for Tom to go to his school and it was time for me to go to school too, so Tom went on the school bus and I went on the dog bus. A dog in the bus walked over to me. “Look at this, some raw meat,”  the dog said, “My name is Maddie, Maddie the coolest.”  “Hey, give him some space!” said a dog named Stanley. I knew his name because Benson told me about him. After that Stanley and I were friends. When we got to dog school we went to our teacher, Mrs. Lovedog.

At math, Mrs. Lovedog called Stella, one of the dogs in my class, to answer a math question, “What is four plus four?” asked Mrs. Lovedog, “Eight.” said Stella,’’Good job,” said Mrs. Lovedog. At recess Arthur, the nice dog, asked if me and Benson wanted to play. We said yes. At trick time, Mrs. Lovedog asked Arron, a very fierce dog to sit, roll over, and then jump, and he did. After school I saw Maya the cat, so I chased Maya around the house. After dinner for dessert, I had a strawberry cheesecake, then Tom came home from school. “Why are you having dessert, it is not a Saturday!” said Tom angrily, “I thought that Monday was cake day,” I said “No, Monday Is veggie day,’’ said Tom. 

Horrible remembering, Jerry.” said Tom. Stella was Invited to, (my enemy,) Maya’s birthday party, and surprisingly I was invited. So me, Tom, Benson, and Stanley played fetch at the party. We also played find the ball. Once someone found it they had to show it to the referee.

After the birthday party, I went home and played find Tom and High Paw Him. After the game, I saw Stanley taking a walk outside my house, so I asked him if he wanted to have a sleepover with me. 

               6:35 Tuesday A.M

Stanley woke me up at 6:35 because he saw a ball and a dog playing fetch with his owner across the street. Me and Stanley sneaked out of the house and they asked Tom if they could play fetch with the other owner and the dog. The owner said they could play and they told us their rules. They said whatever two dogs get there last, lose, “What happens if you lose,” “If  you lose,” they said, “Then you might die.” What!? I was not going to play this game. “At least, maybe you’ll die, usually, when we play games with other dogs.”

Three… two… one… GO!!!” The owner threw the ball, it was probably going to be me or Stanley because the other dog was behind. We were tied at the time, then, I thought it would make the other dog feel bad so I was about to stop but then the other dog caught up and pushed both of them down and he won. “John wins!!!” said the owner happily 

                    Chapter 2 

                                    The War

I asked the owner if I would die and he said ”You will die in five days, you have those five days to find the black phoenix, a powerful dragon, I will give you a map to find it, if I were you, I would start now, okay?”

“Do you think we can do this?” I asked, “Nope.” Stanley answered.

“Then we will start a war to the death, if we win, then we don’t do the quest, but if they beat us then we do the quest.” 

The war began not too long after I asked Stanley about it. The dogs began to build their base. While they were building, Jerry snuck out to buy a nuke he saw at a store. “The Super Nuke” was what it was called. When he bought it, he thought he saw the shopkeeper remove his hat and end up being owner Ari!  Not much later, the owners started attacking the dog base. “We have to use this nuke I have.”

    But we only have one, and we should use it at the end!” said Stanley, “We have no choice!” I said, “Bring it on or else we could lose.” “Ok.” said Lionel. [BOOM] We…We…We Win!!!” said Nate. “Now we don’t have to do… the quest,” I said. “Ha, ha,” said a voice, Crow. “You fell for our trick, we did that so you would use that fake nuke, now you have to run away to another state and soon this land will be ours,” said Jake.

                   Chapter 3 

                 The Runaway

“We have to run away, the owners have a nuke and are chasing us, so we will have to buy the SuperJet 5000,” I said. The owners were close behind us, but the most amazing thing happened, they stopped. It turns out we ran over a really slippery log while running, and the owners ran and hit it. Not too much later we were in another city, the owners miles away. “We have to get a quick job so we can make five million dollars to get the SuperJet 5000.” 

Eventually, I got a job. Tyreek Bright, a multi-millionaire, pays me one million dollars a week. I know you think that one million a week is a lot but just wait ‘til I tell you what the job is: being a Guard-dog!!! I work for a rich guy named Tyreek Bright. I know since there are ten of us Tyreek would pay us ten million dollars but he said he would originally pay us five million dollars. “Sorry now, I need to work for Tyreek Bright.” I said.

             5 Weeks Later…

“Let's go!!!” I finally made five million dollars so I can buy the SuperJet 5000. “Oh no! I just heard through the commotion that the owners are really close, so you should probably buy the SuperJet 5000, Jerry.” Stanley said. A few minutes later I came back with the SuperJet 5000.

Okay, I bought it.” I said, “I just wanted to say that it goes 300 miles per hour.” A little while later, I was already in Texas and I needed to get to Sydney, Australia because that is where only dogs can get in because if you are not a dog there is a force field so it is basically the dog’s new base. A few days of stopping at hotels and other places later, I got the alert that we were going to crash!!!

My life is about to be over. Maybe I can get that parachute and jump out. I was above the ocean. “Oh no! I just remembered that I am SUPER scared of heights. I will have to face my fears. Three…  two… one… JUMP!!! I-I-I survived!!! “ I said, “I think I should share the news with the world. I think it would say me and the dog army were the first couple of dogs to jump out of a plane and they would make a whole thing about me and the dog army, and there would be a dog celebrity. The only thing I would have to do is search up to see if any other dogs have jumped off a plane and survived it. I am going to go check if that ever happened.
