Once upon a time, there was a squirrel named Andy. After he grew up he decided to live in the city for his whole life. His parents live in the country, far out on Long Island. He loves walking and jogging, but not for 95 miles, so he stays in the city.
"What a beautiful day in the city." Andy remarked.
He suddenly caught a scent of a delicious smell.
"What's that?" He wondered. "Is that...the smell of...peanuts?"
Across the street was a delivery truck with words that said, "Peanuts From the Country". Of course, he read this sign and saw the drivers window was rolled down, and then leapt into the truck.
"JACKPOT!" He yelled.
Inside were barrels and barrels of peanuts that could last him years. So he started munching away.
"Ugh," He groaned. " I feel sick."
While he was in the back he had already gone through two barrels! With a giant stomach ache, he fell asleep in the back of the truck. He had just woken up dreaming about peanuts.
"Ah. Where am I?"
All around him were big green trees, a great big blue sky, and houses. This was not the city. The city has many cars, skyscrapers and business workers. This was the exact opposite. Not many cars, no skyscrapers, and instead of business people there were people dressed in jeans and plaid shirts.
"Oh lordy. I'm in the country." Andy said.
Right next to him was a big sign that said "Welcome to Long Island! New York 95 miles".
"Great," He said. "Just great."
Then, he realized something. His parents lived out here. Maybe somebody would know where to find them.
And then he saw another sign that said, "Cutchogue 5 miles". He decided to march into this town named Cutchogue, and hoped he could find some other squirrels to talk to. His Mom and Dad had moved to a new tree so he didn't know where they lived. They moved to a smaller tree when he moved to the city.
As he reached the town he met a squirrel named Tom.
"Excuse me," asked Andy. "Do you know where I can find the parents of Andy Squirrelington?"

A wonderful story about a city squirrel who wakes up in the country and meets his parents in the country. Andy, the squirrel, is a very funny nice, caring squirrel and is kind of lazy. I hope you enjoy my book!
