Once upon a time, there was a beautiful forest in Britain called the Black Forest. It was named that way because of the dark color of the trees and the shadows they cast on the ground. The forest was home to many creatures, including a small peppered moth named Gizmo. Gizmo loved living in the Black Forest. He enjoyed flying from tree to tree and seeing all the other animals who called the forest home. not even cartographers could fully map the beauty and intracacy of this forest.

     But one day, something changed. Gizmo noticed that the trees were starting to turn blacker, and the air was filled with smoke and soot. The Industrial Revolution had come to the forest, and everything was changing. Agglomerattions had sprung up, and the air was filled with the smoke and soot they produced. The trees were turning black from the pollution, and the different ethnic groups of animals were struggling to survive in this new enviornment, with decreasing fertility rates, and decreasing life expcetancies.

As the forest started to change, so did the animals that lived in it. The trees got darker, and the animals had to change their  behavior accordingly. They had to change their way of living in order to survive in this harsh enviornment, and acculturation between animals occured.

The black forest had turned into an enclave, as their territory was surround by the humans with their minds filled with greed and no sense of preservation for their enviornment. Before long the black forest went from a wonderful place, to a cursed forest that spelled doom for anyone who entered.
