This story is very scary. So be prepared. It is not real, so don't worry. Just a little girl...

Once upon a time in a small village, there was a
happy family called the Sullivans. There was a mother,
a father, and three children. A boy named Eric, a girl
named Emily, and a baby boy named Micheal. They
were a very happy family, and helped anyone in need.
But one time, they helped someone a little too much.

One day, Emily was on her way back from dance
class when she saw a little girl on the street. The girl
was crying. Emily was very happy to help.
"What's wrong?" Emily asked the girl.
The girl looked up. "I am all alone and hungry. My
mummy and duddy left me here, all alone. Now I am
starving and cold. Please help me.".
Emily nodded, eagerly. "You can come to my
house and I will feed you and you can stay there for
awhile." .
A big smile crept across the girl's face. "I would
love that." she said. And they went walking off
home, talking all the way.

Emily and the girl hurried home. They stepped inside
and searched for Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan. They appeared in
the kitchen.
"Mommy, I found this girl on the street and she has no
home, can she stay with us? She is very nice." Emily
pleaded.
"Well, dear, tell me all about yourself. Then we will see
if you can stay with us.". Mrs. Sullivan told her.
"Um, okay. Well, My name is Beth and I am eight
years old. I used to live with my Mum and Daddy in
England, but then they abandoned me on the street. I
lived there for a week. Then Emily found me, and here I
am. I was sleeping when they dumped me on the street,
I am pretty sure it was all my step mum's idea. She is
mean." Beth finished.
So it turned out that Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan felt so bad
for the child, that they had to adopt her. Big mistake.

As you may already know The Sullivans adopted Beth. It
has been one month, and everything has been going
fine. Until now.
One morning, the family noticed something very odd
about Beth. And it wasn't good. Emily and Beth were
playing in Beth's room when she spotted something
shiny in Beth's top open drawer of her dresser. Beth
didn't have very many belongings, but she did have a
bag with her most prized possessions.
"What is that in your drawer?" Emily asked.
Beth's eyes widened. "Uh, nothing!" she quickly shut
the drawer.
But Emily needed to know what it was. "Come on,
please!?" she slid open the drawer and pulled out the
object. It was a knife.
