Aussies are active yet easy-going dogs that love to romp with children. They tend to get along well with other pets. The breed is considered highly intelligent and easy to train. Aussies are known for being especially eager to please their owners.

And no one would ever think of him as silly or goofy. Although he values his independence, the Chow is affectionate and devoted to his family. He's reserved with strangers, but will accept them if properly introduced by his owner.

The Dachshund is described as clever, lively, and courageous to the point of rashness. He's bred for perseverance, which is another way of saying that he can be stubborn. Dachshunds have a reputation for being entertaining and fearless, but what they want most is to cuddle with their people.

A hardy, energetic and fairly intelligent dog, the English springer spaniel is outgoing and friendly, but still should have socialization and training from the beginning. English springer spaniels were selected as fairly close-working hunting partners and have a strong desire to be with people and to be working.

The Frenchie is playful, alert, adaptable, and completely irresistible. The French Bulldog resembles a Bulldog in miniature, except for the large, erect 'bat ears' that are the breed's trademark feature.

Goldens are outgoing, trustworthy, and eager-to-please family dogs, and relatively easy to train. They take a joyous and playful approach to life and maintain this puppyish behavior into adulthood.

Jack Russells are small, smart and, in true Terrier style, often like to make themselves heard. With their feisty personalities, they aren't always suited to homes with young children or small pets but their loyal and energetic personalities do make them a popular family pet.

The Komondor is a loving dog who needs little exercise and likes to keep its human companions in sight, often following them. Intelligent with a keen instinct for protection, the Komondor's independent thought process can make this breed ill-suited to many. Always alert, the Komondor is a loud barker.

They are friendly and accept and treat everyone like their best friend. They're devoted to their family and enjoy life as an energetic companion. They can be gentle, but they can also be joyful, showing their happiness through exuberant jumping and playing.

The Maltese is gentle, affectionate, intelligent, responsive and trusting. A good family dog, Maltese are lively, playful, vigorous, and they generally enjoys learning tricks. They can be snappy with raucous children.

The Newfoundland puppy is outgoing, intelligent, and curious never timid, skittish, or aggressive. Daily human contact is absolutely essential for any Newfie. Early socialization and puppy training classes are recommended and help to ensure that the Newfoundland grows into a well-adjusted, well-mannered companion.

is for Otterhound

The Otterhound is a friendly, good natured dog with a sense of humour and fun. They are also a large dog in every sense of the term, tall, long, well built and shaggy coated. They can be exuberant and boisterous, and as with all scent hounds, are inclined to switch their ears off once their nose is engaged.

is for Pug

The Pug has been bred to be a companion and a pleasure to his owners. He has an even and stable temperament, great charm, and an outgoing, loving disposition. Pugs live to please their people, so they are generally easy to train. Their feelings are easily hurt, and harsh training methods should never be used.
