This comic is dedicated to all the kids who are not able to get education due to poverty, disabilities and being girl child and are forced to child labour. My moto to write this comic book is that there should be schools open for all the children and education should be provided to all starting from an early age without any discrimination.

Hi Ethel, I don't know what are SDG can you please explain me?

SDG are Sustainable Development Goals. They are also known as Global Goals and were adopted by the United Nations in 2015. There are 17 SDG's to ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Today let's discuss about Equality in Education SDG.

Oh! Ethel, thank you for explaining me about SDG. I liked a lot listening to you and learnt a lot about SDG . I have a story to discuss with you. It's about Goal 4 - 'Equality in education'.

So Ethel I was saying that there are still some states that do not believe in goal number 4. They do not send girls to schools and instead tell their girls to work at home.

Hi Ethel, do you know today our teacher Miss priya taught us tips and tricks about SDA goals.

Our teacher told us about Tips and tricks too and I think I remember one of them that we can put posters on roadside.

I will write and you can colour.

I have an idea, let's try making posters which can be easy and respectful to read for all ages .

Dear Prime Minister,

Please open Government schools for all with minimal or no fees so that all the kids can attend the school and please provide scholarships to girl child to encourage their participation towards education.

Look! Our idea worked. Finally government started PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2023 Rewards. Under this the students will get benefits of INR 2,500 per month for the boys and INR 3,000 per month for the girls.
