This real story happened almost 5 years ago.

I have always loved animals, in spite of my mother's wishes against having one pet at home.

We were having breakfast that Friday morning...

It was a rainy day, and I was watching the news that morning. The streets were wet and I heard a dog barking at something. I didn't know what was it, but didn't pay attention to it because there are always dogs in the streets.

I was getting ready to go to work and it was then when my mother asked me to buy some bread and butter, so I went to the store. But when I closed my door, I heard a little strong scream around the floor...

There was a tiny orange kitten, screaming for help, all wet. Crying loud for someone to take care of him and feed him or her some food. It had blue eyes and it was really cute. I felt so bad for him that all I did was pick it up and take it inside home.

Obviously, my mother didn't want the little kitten staying at home, so I told her it was only for one day until I talk to a friend.

So, I called my best friend Olinda who is up to the present a cat rescuer...

Olinda, is my dearest friend. She taught me everything there's to know about how to raise little kittens. So I ask her to keep the little one until I find it a forever home. I named him KEN, because his eyes were blue and he was really handsome.

It didn't pass too long until one person contacted me to ask for KEN. She wanted to adopt him and it made me so happy for him. KEN was only 1 month old, so she had to wait until he turned 2 months. 

We took KEN to the vet and put him all his vaccines that were necessary. KEN grew just fine. Everyone was happy for him because he wasn't a street cat anymore.

Now KEN was going to have a forever home.
