One sunny day an old man decides to go to the shops. His name was Harold and he was a businessman who didn’t believe in any sort of magic, but he was fond of hats. So one day Harold decided to go to the shops to get a new hat. He went to the first shop he found, Target. Inside there were a lot of different hats to choose from. Harold was very particular about which hat he wore every day so when he was confronted by so many hats he didn’t know how he could choose a hat. Now as I have told you before Harold did not believe in any magic but he didn’t know what else to do so he went to the nearest wishing well he could see. When he got there he fished out a coin from his pocket and threw it in the well, wishing that the right hat would come to
him. Suddenly everybody came to Target and rushed in. There was no way Harold would get his hat now. Everybody was coming out with hats in their hands. Harold knew that there were so many hats inside but even he didn’t think that there would be enough for him to get one once the mob had disappeared.

“Could you please tell me where the hats are? I really need a new hat.” Harold told the worker.
“We only have one left, I hope that you will like it.” Replied the worker, looking genuinely sad for poor Harold. The worker, whose name was James, led Harold to where the last hat was. Harold gasped. It was the perfect hat. It was a maroon colour and was the perfect material for Harold’s head. He quickly rushed to the checkout and bought before anyone could take it. He put it on his head and was walking home when suddenly someone ran up to him and stole his hat. Harold was so annoyed that he rushed after him, but he only got a few steps when he doubled over coughing. When he stood back up the person who stole it had already ran
around the corner and into the elevator. Harold knew there was no way he could get back his hat now.
Harold went back to the wishing well and threw another coin in there. He wished that his perfect hat would come back to him. Then he walks slowly home. When he got home he went straight into his room and went to sleep. When he woke up he yawned and stretched then went to make some eggs for breakfast. He was in the middle of putting the egg in his mouth when the doorbell rang. He quickly chewed and swallowed and walked to the front door to see who was there. When he opened the door no one was there. He looked down and there was his hat. Pinned onto it was a
