The story starts here...

                                Chapter 1

It was a cool day, and I was strolling on the streets of London, trying to get some food on my way back home. I had been starving after walking for so long. My stomache was gurgling so much! Just as I was thinking about what to eat, a boy rushed passed me, knocking me to the ground. He quickly helped me up after he saw me. ' Sorry!' he exclaimed.' I was busy moving the boxes.' I looked at the boxes he held. ' They sure look heavy.' I said. ' Do you need help?' 'Oh no thank you. I can handle it.' he replied.

' It's ok. I enjoy helping people.' I said as I put my hands in my pocket. So I took one box and the boy took two. ' So where do you live?' I asked. ' Nathon street.' he replied. ' Oh! I live there too!' I said in shock. We walked toghter until we reached his house which was two houses away from my house. ' Me and my family just moved here, and now I am helping with the luggage. Thanks a lot for your help though.' he said softly. 'No problem. Do you want to catch up a little with me, cause we are neighbours, and we could be friends?' I asked, a little shy. 

' Sure!' he said, as he gave me his number. 'By the way, what's your name?' ' Ester.' He smiled, ' That's a nice name! I'm Josh. Well, see you later!' We waved goodbye. I watched as he moved the boxes in the house one by one. ' What a nice boy he is! I am sure we could catch up.' I thought as I walked back home.

                Chapter 2

Me and Josh had been texting for a few days, and my parents didn't even know about it. I was about to tell them when I got a message from Colette, my super best friend.'' Wanna go camping tmr?'' she asked in the message. I sighed. I know Colette loves doing outdoor activities, but maybe too much for sometimes. I was about to say that I would be busy, when I suddenly had an idea. I quickly text Colette and told her. '' OK, sure...'' she replied. This should turn out so well!

                 Chapter 3

Me and Colette met up at the camp site, which was a massive field of grass. ' So, who did you invite?' Colette asked curiously. ' You'll see.' I said with a smile. After a while, Josh rushed towards our tent. ' Sorry for being late!' he shouted, huffing and puffing. I giggled. He looked so funny when he was catching his breath. ' Did you bring the supplies?' I asked. 'Yep! Definetly!' he said. ' So you invited him?' Colette looked at him for a while. ' Yeah!' I said excitedly. ' Isn't he cool?' Colette looked at me and said, ' I suppose so?' 

' You must be Colette!' Josh said happily, while shaking Colette's hands. ' I am Josh, by the way.' Colette shook his hand back.' Hi there!' I looked at them. ' So, is my idea the best one?' Colette sat down on a bench. ' I should admitt that the idea was good. Inviting your neighbour to come wasn't too bad.' Josh also smiled.' Thanks for inviting me, Ester!' Colette asked us to sit and we all had some tea. I could see that Josh was enjoying this camp. After a while, other campers started to arrive and set up their tents. We were lucky to get a good place to set up our tent!

We talked all afternoon until it was getting dark. Colette seemed to enjoy talking with Josh though. They are very much talkative! Seeing them having so much fun, I decided to buy some juice for our barbecue later tonight. When I came back, Colette was setting the fire and Josh was taking out the food. ' I bought some juice!' I said. ' The grape is yours , Colette.' I said as I handed to grape juice to Colette. ' Thanks!' she replied, and quickly took a sip. ' And here's your's, Josh.' I handed Josh a box of orange juice. ' Oh! Thank you so much! But how did you know like to drink orange juice though?' he asked, taking a sip.

' I often see you wearing orange clothes, so I bought orange juice.' I said. ' Yeah, orange is my favourite colour.' he replied with a smile. I looked at the food Josh brought. Glad that he brought my favourite spicy chicken wings! We roasted the food together. It was delicious! It was so much fun chatting and eating. After we finished, Colette and me put the things away, while Josh took out his guitar. Surprisingly, he knew how to play the guitar!  We sang our favourite songs for the rest of the night. It was ten when we set up our beds! Our tent was big enough to fit three people, so we all slept together. Inviting Josh was a good choice, making this camp much more fun!

                  Chapter 4

We woke up early the next morning. The sun shined so brightly! Me and Josh cooked breakfast on our table with the help of my food supplies. I cooked the eggs, while Josh cooked the bacons. I never knew Josh could cook so well! The bacons were delicious, and they were so much better than my eggs. After breakfast, we played games like Tag, and we also played badminton and football with the camp site's facilities. It was so much fun! We were tired so we had some water and cookies. It was noon so me and Colette went to buy lunch.

We ordered at McDonald's and I ended up buying a burger meal and while Colette bought her favourite chicken nugguts. We also bought a happy meal for Josh. After eating, we had a walk in a nearby park. The air was fresh, and it was comfortable to hear the birds chirp. I saw some violets when I stopped to rest. ' So, you like violets?' Josh asked. I nodded  Soon enough, it was time to go home. Colette went her seperate way, while me and Josh took the bus home together. Me and Josh's friendship was growing, and I am glad he is my neighbour. Josh walked me home. We said our goodbyes and I went inside.
