Once upon a time, an elephant named Sarah and a panda named 

Jennie were the best of friends. They did everything together. 

They played together. They ate together. They went to school 

together. Most of all, they loved to go on adventures together. 

"Look at my cool new ball!" Sarah said. 

"Wow, I love soccer," Jennie said. 

"Let's go play soccer with Amy. Do you remember how to get to 

her house?" Sarah asked.

Sarah and Jennie head to Amy the monkey's house. They were 

walking and kicking the soccer ball back and forth. 

All of the sudden, they came to a fork in the road. 

"Oh, no! I don't remember which way to go," 

Sarah said. 

Jennie said, "I don't either. What are we going to 

do?"

"We can pick one and try it. We can always come 

back to the fork." Sarah answered. 

"I really, really don't want to get lost," Jennie 

responded. 

"We won't. I think we can always find a way," 

Sarah said. 

"I think I am just going to go home," Jennie said. 

She turned around and went back to her house. 

Sarah decided to go to the left. 

Sarah followed the path until she got to the beach. 

"Hmm...this does not look right. I know Amy lives in a tree. I must 

have gone the wrong direction," Sarah thought. "I should go back and 

try the other way."

Sarah traveled back to the fork in the road. This time she went to the 

right down the other path. She was starting to get thirsty so she 

hoped this was the right way to get to Amy's house. 

"I made it! Amy come down here! I have a new ball to play 

with!" Sarah yelled. They played with the ball until the sun 

started to set. It was a great day!

"Today has been an awesome day! I am so glad I didn't give up when 

I didn't remember how to get here. Next time, I will make sure Jennie 

comes too!" Sarah said. Sarah headed back to her house and slept 

very well after having so much fun.
