It all started with the extinguishing of the Aether. It was caused by man’s 

hate, greed and ambition to destroy. The guardians of the Aether, the 

dragons were devastated and carried the elemental orbs that formed the 

Aether to sacred places at the end of the Earth. To be found by the 

humans mentioned in a prophecy long ago.

Four beings will find the orbs,

And reunite them for a cause,

To save the world and the realms

And make peace found.

Four elements silver, blue,

Red and gold in orbs of coloured light.

They will reunite.

And so the negative feelings of man 
formed into a being called the Ix. 

It dwelled in hibernation for millions of years. Until the awakening.

In a normal city called New York, a boy named Daniel Mat was waking up from a well-

deserved nap. He was of medium height with gangly limbs and blue eyes. His brown wavy 

hair drifted in front of his eyes like fireflies on the wind.

Walking though his apartment block, Daniel was bothered. He’d been having strange dreams 

about flashing yellow lights. He felt like something was going to happen. But what?

Suddenly, through the thirty story window came a creature from anyone’s nightmares. A 

green, scaly lizard with wings, spewing fire from the tip of its tongue. It snatched up Daniel 

with its dangerous claws and smashed through the other window, completely demolishing 

the apartment in the sky.

Aragon was fed up with humans. First, with their negative feelings they destroyed the fire of 

life and brought chaos on the entire world of dragons. And now, by the order of the White 

Wizard, he had to carry a screaming one in his claws. Looking down at the city full of pitiful 

humans, he wondered why four of them would ever be the controllers of the elemental orbs. 

He prepared to enter light speed to the realm of the White Wizard, when the human named 

Daniel stopped screaming. 

Bending his head over to get a better look, Aragon was greeted by the sight of Daniel closing 

his eyes and curling up in a half-closed ball. Aragon looked up and entered light speed 

anyway.

When Daniel woke up he was confronted 

by flashing colours around him. In awe, 

he gazed around as far as he could see. 

Blocks of yellow, red, green and blue 

passed by in a flash. He glanced up to see 

his captor in flight, staring intently at a 

black spot in the ever-shifting colours. 

And the monster flew towards it. Daniel 

closed his eyes, afraid of what was to 

come.

Daniel opened his eyes to see a vast 

landscape of floating 3-D objects in vivid 

green colours. But one stood out from the 

rest. A massive floating hexagonal prism 

suspended in the night sky. In an opening 

in the side of the shape, a dark figure was 

seen with eight elongated arms. Daniels 

screams were heard through nine 

dimensions.

As Aragon landed on the White Wizard’s porch, 

he wondered why humans had to scream so much. 

It was puzzling when Grockle, the eight-armed Sarter 

and the White Wizards butler, walked out and the human 

started screaming again. He guessed it was weak willed.

Daniel was hyperventilating when the beast landed on a ledge outside the hexagonal 

building, right next to the eight-armed thing with a grotesque face. So when a normal human 

dressed in white robes walked out as well, he ran to him straight away. But this was no 

ordinary human. He was the White Wizard, protector of the universe and guardian of the 

secrets of the elemental orbs. 

“Welcome Daniel, to the castle of light!” said the imposing figure, gesturing out to the 

magnificent hexagonal building. “Behold its glory!”

As Daniel entered the hall, he was confronted by a magnificent hallway, decked out in black 

and white tapestries telling a great story of battles between a terrible monster and a shining 

figure that looked exactly like the ‘human’ who had greeted him on the porch. Then he 

realised it was!

Daniel was amazed. He was standing in the presence of some kind of immortal god! Then 

the human spoke. “ This building has been the sanctuary from the forces of evil for millions 

of years”.   But these forces have contended into one maleficent figure. THE IX!

Daniel wanted to know more. So when the God beckoned for Daniel to follow him, he ran 

after him like an eager puppy.

They entered a crystal palace with four stone pedestals across the room. Each had a 

circular indention at its tip. “What’s this room?” asked Daniel.

“It is the Orb room, where the elemental orbs will be placed to form the Aether, the fire of 

life!” said the figure .“ I am the White Wizard” 

“What is a elemental orb?” said Daniel.

“I will answer that question with a story” said the White Wizard.

Long Ago, six wizards decided to create a universe. They named it the Milky Way galaxy. 

They then set about creating a heart for this universe. Combining the four orbs of ancient 

power; Earth, Water, Air and Fire to create the fire of life, The Aether, did this! But two of 

the wizards wanted to control the Aether themselves. So they combined themselves 

together and created mans greed, hate, jealousy and anger. This eventually created the 

being called the Ix and it dwelled in hibernation for millions of years. But now it is awake  

and is heading for the Wizards' creation fast.   The only weapons capable to stop this 

monster are the four orbs, which disappeared when the Aether went out. But now, recent 

events have found the orbs to be hidden away in sacred places by the guardians of the 

Aether, the dragons. Aragon here is one of them. Your quest is to find the Earth Orb.

“What about the other orbs?” said Daniel.

“They will be found by the other humans mentioned in the great prophecy long ago” said 

the White Wizard

Four beings will find the orbs,

To save the world and the realms 

And make peace found.

Four Elements

 silver, blue, red and gold 

in orbs of coloured light.

They will reunite.

“The first orb is hidden deep in the Earth in 

a location that only the dragons know of. 

Aragon will lead you there”

Daniel turned around and saw Aragon snort. 

“Lets go then,” said Daniel nervously. 

But as Daniel left, a strangely shaped shadow

sneakily followed him.

Aragon was wondering why he had to help Daniel anyway. The whole time he was 

flying, he missed his home.

He was flying on the back of a fearsome dragon. Daniel was thrilled! This was an 

adventure of a lifetime! Then there was a blinding light. They were entering the Milky 

Way galaxy in search of the Earth Orb. Aragon suddenly dipped down in the sky 

towards a massive hole. Daniel screamed in happiness as they entered the bowels of 

the earth.

Lava waterfalls in glorious colours lifted Daniel and Aragon deeper and deeper into the 

Earth. Daniel was excited, lifting Aragon on and on into the depths of the earth. Then 

the dragons came.

They came in flashing colours, red, blue, green and purple with fearsome claws and 

sharp teeth. Daniel awed and ahhed as they did acrobatic loops past. But then they 

entered a massive spherical cavern with a gigantic rolling ball in the middle. In a flash, 

a massive dragonhead with antique curling horns and a keen staring eye appeared. The 

being roared and a burst of flaming, molten-like fire came out of its mouth. Aragon 

swerved to the left to avoid being set alight. He flew onto a ledge on the side of the 

cavern wall. 

They entered a crystal cavern full of crystal stalagmites and stalactites. Dragons flew 

all around in different colours, shapes and sizes. Aragon started walking towards a 

giant gate made out of a giant skull of a long extinct dinosaur. Then the skull spoke. 

“WHO GOES THERE?”

“Aragon of the nightmare colony my league. We are just passing through the Holy 

Cave,” said Aragon in Dragon-tongue. 

“WHAT IS YOUR BUSSINESS THERE?”

“We wish to find the Earth Orb”

“WHAT!!!!!!! THAT IS FORBIDDEN!!!!”

“The Ix has awaken”

That caused all the dragons in the cave to stop and gasp. The skull paused for a 

moment.

“WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO?”

“We plan to travel to the Earth Gate to see if the human can unlock it”

“YOU MAY PASS”

This conversation was lost on Daniel, and he was puzzled at the strange noises Aragon 

was making. “Where are we going?” asked Daniel. 

Aragon wrote out on the floor,

Daniel and Aragon entered a lengthy cave filled with 

majestic Jurassic-like waterfalls glistening in a 

glorious silver light coming from an unknown source. 

At the end was a magnificent earthly brown gate 

carved with ancient symbols telling of the story of the 

creation of the world. And somehow, Daniel knew 

what it was. The Earth Gate. When Daniel got closer, 

he noticed that the symbols pointed to a handprint in 

the centre of the Gate. He had the sudden urge to 

place his right hand in the handprint. And he did. The 

gate glowed with an internal light and with a flash, it 

was gone.

But a dark shadow reared up and the Ix possessed 

Aragon. In a rage, the Ix took control and Aragon 

exploded. The last thing Daniel heard before he fell 

unconscious was a maniac, uncontrolled laughter.

Daniel’s eyes opened to see a tall man with a black beard and 

a black pointy hat with a red dragons head inscribed on it. He 

was also wearing a long black cloak with symbols of blood 

and murder and destruction. Daniel suddenly realised who it 

was. The Ix!

“Oh, you’re awake,” said the Ix. “It looks like you slept well.” It 

let out a bust of maniac laughter. 

“Where is the Earth Orb?” asked Daniel forcefully. The Ix let 

out another burst of maniac laughter. Daniel thought that the 

Ix was completely insane. 

“You really think I would tell you where it is!” 

“Probably” said Daniel. The Ix just lifted up its arms shot out a 

couple of incomprehensible words and melted into the 

shadows. 

Falling asleep, Daniel had a dream. He ran through a endless 

hallway filled with flashing yellow and brown lights. He knew 

the passageway led to the Earth Orb, the mystical object that 

was the subject of his journey. But he needed to wake UP!
