The year was 2067, and the goal this year was to reduce poverty. Thousands were currently living on the streets in Chicago.

One particular family, A dad with two young children around the ages of 5-8, had been living in front of the Nederlander Theatre for 9 months. Chase, the dad, being a single parent with Camden, his son, and Carson, his daughter. Camden being slightly older meant he was beginning to understand that his home was unlike others of his age.

TAG YOU'RE IT
One afternoon, Carson walked up to a young man in a grey coat, blue socks, and a red undershirt. She tapped him on the arm, shouting with confidence, "TAG YOU'RE IT".

She ran down the sidewalk, making a sharp right turn down North Dearborn Street.

"That was very fun, we can play again tomorrow on my way home from work."
The man gradually caught up to her, getting a random burst of energy, speeding past Carson, tagging her. "That was very fun, we can play again tomorrow on my way home from work." The man said.

Carson walked back and sat down next to Camden.

Thank you ma'am!
Sir, I have a challenge for you, and if you can complete it, I will give you one million dollars, and if you don't, you must give me one of your children of your choice.
A few minutes later, a generous lady passing by gave Chase a 10 dollar bill. He looks at the lady with a huge smile on his face, "Thank you ma'am!" The lady nodded her head replies "Sir, I have a challenge for you, and if you can complete it, I will give you one million dollars, and if you don't, you must give me one of your children of your choice."

He looked at Carson and Camden with fear.

It's a deal, what's the challenge?

Dad, are you getting rid of me if you can't complete the challenge?

"It's a deal, what's the challenge". "Dad, are you getting rid of me if you can't complete the challenge?" Camden said with a tear coming down his cheek.

No son, neither of you are going anywhere

"No son, neither of you are going anywhere", he says as if he can guarantee he can complete the challenge.

Be safe kids

She told Chase to get in the car, leaving the kids. "Be safe kids!" he said with a tremble in his voice.

After 30 minutes, he opened the car door, dropping his jaw.

You must climb to the top of this wall within 120 seconds.
"You must climb to the top of this wall within 120 seconds".

Where's my harness?
He looked around hoping there would be other people around, but there was no one, not even a worker. "Where's my harness?" He asked the woman.

There is no need, there are no workers plus what's a little fun without danger involved?

You have got to be crazy, this wall is probably 100 feet tall. Risking one of my children is already dangerous enough.
"There is no need, there are no workers, plus what's a little fun without danger involved?" "You have got to be crazy, this wall is probably 100 feet tall. Risking one of my children is already dangerous enough, little alone my life too".

You have 120 seconds, ready set go!
He stood at the base of the wall, looking straight up. The lady grabs a timepiece from her pocket, reminding him he only had 120 seconds. Chase took a deep breath, placing his right foot on the first step."Ready set go!"

After 20 seconds, he started breathing heavily. The lady had a grin on her face, tapping her foot, and watching the clock. "100 seconds" she added. He started to shake, moving slower and slower. He got halfway up with 20 seconds remaining. Taking it one step at a time, he started crying.

You're giving up?

I have no energy, I haven't eaten in 4 days

Without any faith, he started to climb down. "You're giving up?" she said in awe. He fell to his knees, sobbing into his dirty, torn up hands. "I have no energy, I haven't eaten in 4 days." She immediately looked regretful.

"I will give you some food, then in 20 minutes I will let you try again." Chase sat up with a hopeful look on his face. "Thank you ma'am!" He slowly stood up, sitting in a chair. The lady brought him a hot dog and some strawberries. He takes one look at it and immediately started to drool.
