 Hello! My name is Tracie Anderson,  I'm a mom, wife, sister, daughter friend and so much more. I have lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio my whole life. I'm currently attending University of Akron for my early childhood  education degree. 

Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, there lived a brave girl named Lauren, she was not like the other kids in her school because she had an autoimmune disorder that made her body react differently to things. But she didn't let that stop her from having fun and making friends.

Lauren's best friend was her furry companion, Oreo, a black and white dog with big, expressive eyes. Oreo was always by Lauren's side, ready for any adventure that came their way.

One sunny morning, as Lauren and Oreo were getting ready for school, Lauen's mom reminded her to take her medicine. Lauren's autoimmune disorder required her to take special medicine every day to help her body stay strong and healthy. She didn't mind, though, because she knew it was important.

Autoimmune Disorder: Autoimmune diseases result when your immune system is overactive, causing it to attack and damage your own body 

At school, Lauren and Oreo were welcomed with warm smiles from their classmates. Lauren loved her school, and everyone in her class was kind and understanding. They knew about her autoimmune disorder and were always there to support her.

One day, during recess, Lauren and Oreo decided to explore the schoolyard. As they wandered through the playground, they stumbled upon a mysterious path leading into the woods behind the school. Lauren's curious nature got the best of her, and she decided to follow it, with Oreo happily wagging her tail and leading the way.
