Daisy was so excited for Thanksgiving! She went to the store to buy everything she would need, so she and her friends could share the best meal together.

Barret, Terry, and Callie were deeply excited too!  They were planning to throw a surprise dinner for Daisy, because she was so giving to them.

Daisy was walking home to go put her food up, but she realized she forgot to invite her friends to join her!

Daisy walked as fast as her legs could take her to her friends' houses.

"Knock, knock!" Daisy knocked on Terry's door and hoped she would answer.

 Terry opened the door. Daisy asked, "Will you share Thanksgiving with me?" 

"No, I am sorry," Terry said. Daisy gave her a pie she bought and wished her a happy Thanksgiving.

Daisy felt sad. Terry couldn't share Thanksgiving, but she knew that she had to keep other friends. Time was running out!

Daisy walked all the way to her friend Barret's house.

'Ring ring!"Daisy  rang Barret's doorbell,  hopeful that she would say yes.

Daisy asked once again, "Will you share Thanksgiving dinner with me?" Barrett replied with, 

""No, I'm sorry." Daisy gave her the turkey, and wished her a happy Thanksgiving.

Daisy was left with the same hurt feelings as before.

Daisy made her way to ask her last friend, Callie. She was really hoping that Callie could join her because Thanksgiving was almost here.

"Knock, knock!" Daisy knocked on Callie's door.

Daisy asked Callie if she would like to share Thanksgiving dinner. Callie declined. 

"Sorry, I can not come." Daisy gave her some fruit and wished her a happy Thanksgiving.

Daisy was left feeling horrible this time. She had no more friends to ask, and she had given all of her food to her friends. She couldn't even enjoy the meal by herself

Daisy walked across the path, but this time she was sad.

When she got home she didn't even think about Thanksgiving.

She went to bed, even though it was light outside. Strangely, something started to happen.
