        '' Throw it hard! ''I shouted to Violet as she threw 

the ball ferociously.I caught it and Sadie stared at me 

with her mouth wide open while I grinned at her.

   Hi!I'm Collete and this is how I found my precious 

mare named Caramel.I love her very much.

    Violet,Sadie,and I were playing in the park when I 

saw a brown mare bolting toward us.When I tore my 

eyes off of her I saw what was scaring her.

   A stampede of horses!!

       We narrowly escaped the stampede by riding on 

Caramel's back.I dropped Violet back home and Sadie 

and I ran back to our twenty acres of home.I climbed 

up an apple tree and threw down about a dozen 

apples for all of us.Caramel gobbled half of them up 

like she had had nothing for breakfast.I kept her with 

me since that day.

       '' Daddy! Where can I keep her? ''I asked my 

dad.'' In the stables sweetie!! '' He replied.You 

probably guessed it.I live on a farm.Anyways,Caramel 

loved the stables!

          The next day, the mailman arrived and called 

'' Mail for Collete Walker! '' I streaked downstairs 

and bumped into many things on the way.

     I'm always like this when I get mail because I 

barely get mail. I ripped it open the moment the 

mailman left.It was an invitation to Violet's costume 

party on Sunday!  

       Two days later, Sadie and I were ready for the 

costume party!We mounted Caramel and we were off!

        Once we reached the party,we were greeted by 

Violet who was dressed up as a pirate.I was dressed 

up as a witch and Sadie was a princess.As we walked 

inside, Sadie ran off to play with little kids.Violet and I 

chatted for a long time until a catastrophe 

happened.And I mean a CATASTROPHE!!

   We were attacked by REAL pirates!! 

Actual,real life,PIRATES!!! Caramel seemed to 

know we were in trouble and knocked out a 

pirate.Like this, she eventually knocked out all 

the pirates.As she did it,Violet called the police 

and they arrested the pirates. Caramel was a 

hero!!!!
