The habitats of the ARCTIC fox vary from season to
season. In the summer the ARCTIC fox lives in the
tundra at the edge of forest. In the winter it can be
found on ice floes where it's white fur blends into the
surrounding environment.

The BLACK BEAR can be found in forest regions
from sea level to 10,000 feet in elevation. The
habitat usually includes thick vegetation and an
abundant supply of fruit and nut-bearing trees..




The habitat of the giant CLAM are the warm
tropical waters of the Indian and South Pacific
oceans. Giant CLAMS can be found anchored to
the coral reefs.

The DINGO can be found in a variety of
habitats throughout the Australian
mainland. Dingos can be found living in the
woodlands, shrublands and even on the
outskirts of the Australian deserts.

Bald EAGLE habitats are forests with
lakes.During the summer, they can be
seen flying above lakes and in the
nearby trees. In the winter, bald
eagles can be seen around unfrozen
lakes and hunting along coastlines and
rivers.

FLAMINGOES generally live along the coast,
where they can wade into the water for
feeding. Their long legs allow them to wade in
coastal waters, while their webbed feet are
adapted for balancing on the muddy floors.

The GIANT Panda would have been found
throughout the lowlands of the Yangtze River
Basin (In China) but increased over population
of humans in these areas has pushed the
Giant Pandas high up into the mountains.

HERMIT crabs can be found in marine habitats all
around the world. HERMIT crabs sometimes do
venture into deeper waters, but are more
commonly found in coastal waters where there is
more food and places to hide.

Green (or common) IGUANAS are found mostly
in the rain forests, although some do live in
drier, coastal areas. IGUANAS are native to
the jungles of Central and South America, and
the Caribbean.


The habitat for JELLYFISH is very
vast as they can live in any ocean
water. And some species of
JELLYFISH live in fresh water lakes.

KANGAROOS live in various habitats,
from forests and woodland areas to
grassy plains and savannas.
KANGAROOS are large marsupials that
are found only in Australia.


The LEMUR is a primate native to the
island of Madagascar. The LEMURS spend
most of their day in the trees. Their
habitat are the forests.

MOUNTAIN gorillas are found in the highlands in
eastern Africa. They are found in the volcanic
mountains of Central Africa. Their habitat also
spans across 4 national parks throughout the
Republic of Congo.

The NUMBAT is a small-sized marsupial
that is found in Western Australia.
NUMBATS live forests and woodland that
are mostly made up of eucalyptus trees.
NUMBATS have also been found in
grasslands that are near the water.

OSTRICHS live in sandy and arid habitats.
Common environments for these birds include
savannas, woodlands, and grasslands. Ostriches
like to bathe and swim therefore they stay in
areas that are not far from water.


The PYGNY Hippopotamus is a mammal
that is found inhabiting the forests and
swamps of West Africa.

QUAKKA's habitat are thick forest, woodland and
scrub-lands that are close to fresh water. Their
preferred habitats are always close to water. They
live mostly on Bald Island and Rottnest Island which
are off the coast of Australia.

The ROYAL penguin's main habitat is Macquarie Island. This
island is halfway between Antartica and Australia.This island
has rocks, tussock grass and small shrubs. The ROYAL
penguin spends about seven months of the year in the coastal
waters around this island.

The STRIPED rocket frog is usually
found in coastal areas of Australia and
Indonesia. The STRIPED rocket frog is
found in a variety of habitats. They can
be found swamps, ponds and flooded
grasslands.

TASMANIAN devils live on the island of
Tasmania off Australia . The TASMANIAN
devil habitat includes the entire island,
although they prefer the coastal scrub-lands
and forests.

UGUISU's habitat are the forests in the mountains of
Japan, China and Taiwan. The UGUISU are known to
move further down the mountains during the winter.
They can also be found bamboo trees where they can
hide and find food.




















The VERMET monkey can be found in savanna,
woodland and forests that tend to be close to
water, VERMET monkeys prefer to live near
rivers and can live in low mountains.

Wild WATER buffalo habitat include
the tropical forests of Asia.WATER
buffalo's can be found submerged in
the muddy waters of these forests.

X-RAY TETRA is found in the Amazonian
coastal waters of South America. They
live clear-water streams during the dry
season and in the rainy season they move
into the flooded marshlands.
