We dedicate this book to our elves and elf pets for being wonderful and fun. And to Christmas because it is our favorite holiday, written and illustrated by                                                                                                                                              Maven and Perrin

It all started 6 days before Christmas.

when Perrin and Maven were looking at the elf on the shelf because they were swinging and zip lining. It  would be cool to be a elf said Maven yeah said Perrin. They closed their eyes and tried to imagine  what it would be like to be in their world. Maven wrote them a note and put it in a  tiny little red mail box. Little did they know that at night they were gonna go on a little adventure.

While Maven and Perrin were sleeping Senor stomp and Eric were flying they accidentally dropped a little magic elf dust that would switch people into an elf. uh oh said senor stomp it will be fine said Eric it missed. Because one time they dropped some and it was missed before.  Little did they know this time it didin't miss it landed directly on Maven's and Perrin's head.

 Maven and Perrin felt so tiny when they hopped out of bed. They started going down the stairs when Perrin stumbled on the wood floor. She thought that she would fall. When she pulled Maven on enter  but intensely in a millisecond they were flying !!!!!!!!!!!! Maven and Perrin were way above the ground. "This is amazing!" Maven exclaimed in a tiny voice.

"Where were you guys?" asked Senor stomp "Santa is going to give us a mission."

Maven and Perrin tried to say we are not elves but Señor stomp and Eric thought they were joking. Maven and Perrin went along whispering to each other. They followed Señor stomp and Eric. Santa said" Rosa Lola your girls aren't home. I guess they are at a sleep over. You will be going to Jill and Bella's house instead. Santa showed them a picture of Jill and Bella. Maven and Perrin nodded nervously as they actually saw Santa! They knew they had to listen to Santa  so they started flying to the house they got assigned  to but they also knew they had to get home. They heard Santa laugh "ho ho ho!" as they hesitantly flew over!

We are not elves!

Haha! Good one!

!We are finally here!" exclaimed Perrin. T"hat took a long time," said Maven. Let's go inside. they went in. "Okay, let's tell them to watch the Grinch. I have been dying to see it!" said Perrin. "Okay," muttered Maven. "But after, we HAVE to get back home!" "Deal," agreed Perrin. "But one question. How are we going to stay still for so much time? "Well, we are elves at the moment so we have elf powers," replied Maven. "Rosa and Señor stomp once gave me a book. It said that elves can stay still without breathing or blinking for sixteen days!  "Quick they are coming! whispered Perrin.
