You can not always do everything, but there is always something you can do!

Meet Sophia she is 12 years old and really likes to dance.
When she was 10, her mom put her in ballet classes and Sophia insently fell in love.

"Hi! My name is Sophia I'm 12 years old and this is my mom. I love to dance! "

2 years into ballet and Sophia loves it so much. She's so happy at every dance class.
Sophia becomes best friends with Penelope, because they have both been in the same class for 2 years.

"This is Penelope."
"We are best friends!!"

Even though Sophia has been taking ballet lessons for 2 years she still can not master the splits, and she gets very discouraged when everyone else around her does one and she can't. But they understand and don't make fun of her.

One day Sophia's mom tells her they have to change dance studios, but Penelope is also changing dance studios with her.
Sophia doesn't want to leave her teacher and all her other friends, but she has no choice, because she wants to continue dancing.

"I don't want to change dance studios."

When Sophia and Penelope show up at the new dance studio, their new teacher asks them to show the whole class what they can do, before the class begins.
She asks to see all the basic dance steps, then she asks to see a split from both of them because they have a big split moment in the yearly recital...

"Welcome to our class."
Penelope goes straight into a split, but Sophia just stares at the new dance teacher and quietly says, "I can't do a split."
The other girls in the dance studio all start giggling, but the teacher tells Sophia it's perfectly normal.

"HEHEHEHE"
"HAHAHAHHAAH"

"Don't worry, it's ok!"
Sophia is so embarressed by the girls laughing at her, but she goes to the next class with a smile on her face, hoping the other girls forget about the split situation.

"Just smile..."

They did not forget, and even made fun of Sophia behind the teachers back the whole class. Mainly by a girl named Brittney.
Penelope was the only one who stood up for Sophia and tried not to let her spirits get down during class.

"Leave Sophia alone, just because she can not do a split, doesn't make her a lesser dancer."
"HAHA, that's embarrassing."
After 5 classes of Brittney and the other dancers being mean to her, Sophia really wanted to quit dancing. She stopped smiling at the mention of dancing.
She told Penelope, "I think I want to quit." Penelope took it upon herself to talk to Brittney for Sophia.

"Let me talk to Brittney before you make any decisions."

"They are just so mean to me!!"

Penelope told Brittney to stop making fun of Sophia for not being able to do the splits, or she would tell the dance teacher about it.
Brittney responded by saying, "I am sorry, and I'll let the other girls know too."

"You and the other girls need to be nice to Sophia."
Sophia started loving dance again and having a smile on her face at every lesson.
The girls sometimes would snicker at Sophia, but stopped when they saw Penelope staring at them.
