To my good pal, Lily

There once was a young girl named Lily who loved to lie. She would lie about anything and everything all day long.
Lying was fun for Lily and became a habit for her. She especially liked to lie about herself. Lily would lie to make herself seem cooler than her friends Tony and Sam.

"Today, I got an A on the english test!"
"You're such a liar. I see your F."

After a while, everyone became aware of Lily's lying habits. They knew that, more often than not, she was being untruthful.
Understanding this, Lily's parents informed her that her lying would have negative repercussions. If she did not break her habit soon, bad things could happen.

"Lying is never good, Lily. If you continue to tell lies there will be bad consequences."
.
Unfortunately, Lily did not listen to her parents' warning. The next day, she returned to her old ways and began telling lies to Tony and Sam.
By the end of the school day, she had forgotten all about the advice she received, and it was time to go home.

.
.
"I can't wait to go home. I got a new xbox yesterday!"

When Lily got home, she went up to her room. Sitting on her bed, she ran her fingers over her face. After feeling three protruding bumps, she quickly moved to the mirror.
To her dismay, she found three little, red pimples. Although Lily was upset by her breakout, she thought nothing of it and went to bed.

"What's on my face? I'm breaking out!"

.
The next day at school, Lily's teacher interrupted recess to make a big announcement.
She said, "Students, tomorrow morning, we will go on a field trip! At 8 o'clock tomorrow, we will take a bus to the history museum."
Lily and her friends were excited to go to the museum since they had never been there.

Lily and her classmates took the bus to the museum the following morning.
Along the way, Lily and Tony chatted about which exhibits they wanted to see most. Lily wanted to see the fossils. Tony wanted to see the mummies.

"I want to see the fossils!"
"I want to see the mummies!"

When Lily and her friends arrived at the museum, they looked around until Lily noticed a dinosaur fossils sign.
Eager to see the fossils, Lily ran in that direction. As she was running, she tripped and ran into Tony. He was inspecting an ancient vase and fell towards it.
Tony, bumped by Lily, crashed into the pedestal and knocked the vase over, shattering it.

"Oh no! Lily, what have you done?"
"I didn't mean to!"

.

After hearing the noise, a museum manager appeared and was very angry. He quickly and sharply asked, "What happened here? Who is responsible for this vase?"
Before anyone could explain what happened, Lily interrupted and shouted, "Tony broke the vase!"
Lily's friends were furious with her and yelled for her to stop lying.

"Tony broke the vase!"
"What happened in here? Who is responsible for breaking his vase?"

"LILY, STOP LYING!"

After hearing Lily, the museum manager escorted Tony outside and told him he was banned. Tony needed to wait for the field trip to be over before meeting his class again.
Tony was upset and cried because he could not see the Egyptian mummies he was so excited about.
He was also angry with Lily for lying and getting him in trouble for something he was not at fault for.

"Wait here until the field trip is over."

Once Lily's class returned, it was time to go home. Everyone had a great time, other than Tony, who did not get to see the mummies.
On his way out, the teacher stopped Tony. She explained that she heard he had broken a priceless vase and punished him with detention the next day.
Lily overheard this but said nothing and decided to go home.

"I heard that you destroyed a vase at the museum! That is extremely disrespectful. I'll see you in detention tomorrow."

After returning home, Lily went up to her room to relax. Before she laid down, she went to look at herself in the mirror.
She noticed a fourth pimple had formed on her face and became a little bothered by it. She wondered where they kept coming from and when they would go away.
Eventually, she decided to just forget about the whole day and go to sleep.
