Lilia had just moved from the city to the beach. She always enjoyed dancing. She had started at her new school yesterday but, she found it hard to make friends. Today she is going to audition for a very hard dance academy. It is called Daisy Dance Academy. Could she make friends there?

"Bye Mummy," Lilia called out.

She walked in. There was a aroma of many new smells, this made her feel very shy. Lilia felt like going back home but, she wasn't going to give up! "Come in daisies!" Shouted a voice around the academy. Lilia felt butterflies in her tummy. What is she going to do?

There were so many people. She could hear the teach saying "Come over here Lilia". She had a  nice bubbly voice with a smile on her face. This helped Lilia calm down. "Good afternoon everyone "said the teacher. "Good afternoon Miss Swart" all of the other students said. "We have a new student today, her name is Lilia" Said Miss Swart. Lilia could

see a girl starring at something outside but, next to her she could she a girl smiling at her. Lilia started to feel happy.

"You can stand with the rest of the class now," explained Miss Swart.

Lilia stood next to the girl that was smiling at her.

Miss Swart started teaching everyone the dance. It had lots of ticks in it. Everyone span around and did the splits many times. This was fun for Lilia. Lilia always enjoyed doing tricks she used to do gymnastics. At her old school because they ran free gymnastics classes after school, this helped her improve her gymnastics skills.

"Now we are up to the best part of our dance!" explained Miss Swart. Everyone shouted in excitement!

"Everyone write on a piece of paper what amazing tricks you can do and I'll choose what trick you do.

Lilia was so excited she could do a lot of  tricks. Lilia also didn't feel very confident, what if she didn't get chosen? Also if she didn't get chosen everyone could think that she shouldn't be part of this special dance class. The even worse part is that she hasn't made any friends yet so no one would understand. This was Lilia's chance, she decided to be positive so she wrote down the tricks that she can do without worrying. 

Lilia  wrote over 10 different gymnastics tricks. Hopefully she got chosen for at least one of them because there is a lot of people in this group and this group also uses the biggest room available in this dance academy. Lilia felt

butterflies in her tummy as Miss Swart started to read out the list of what everyone is doing.
