B.R.I.C.S is an economic alliance created in 16 of June, 2009. That time, it was known as B.R.I.C. It was renamed to B.R.I.C.S in a meeting in New York, at September 2010. The reason for the renaming was because South Africa had joined the Economic Alliance. The economy of B.R.I.C.S is about $30.76 Trillion US Dollars, which is 30% of the world economy. It also has 40% of the world's population as some new members are joining the alliance.

B.R.I.C.S has 11 members, 5 official members and 6 members that are going to join. They are, Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE or United Arab Emirates. The reason that 6 new countries want to join is because of a big achievement of India, the Chandrayaan-3 Mission.

The Federative Republic Of Brazil is the largest country in South America and the 5th largest country in the world. After around 300 years of Portuguese Rule, Brazil gained independence on the 7th of September, 1822. The 7th constitution of Brazil, which is in use right now, came into force on 5th of October, 1988. It was given slight changes 67 times before 2010. A famous city of Brazil is Rio De Janeiro, meaning River of January and its capital is Brasilia. Germany, India, Japan, The US etc. Are the allies of Brazil. The current leader of Brazil is Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
