Once upon a time in the town of Full Belly, everyone loved to eat. From delicious fruits and vegetables to hearty meals and sweet treats, there was always something tasty to enjoy. But as much as they loved eating, the people of Full Belly didn't think too much about what happened to their leftovers and scraps.

One day, a wise old farmer came to visit the town. He noticed that all of the trash cans were overflowing with uneaten food, and he knew this couldn't go on any longer. So, he gathered all of the children together and told them a story about a magical creature called the Food Waste Goblin.

The Food Waste Goblin lived deep in the ground beneath the town of Full Belly, and he fed off of all the rotten food that the people threw away. The more food the goblin ate, the stronger he became, until one day he would rise up from under the earth and take over the entire town!

At first, the children thought it was just another silly tale, but soon enough they saw for themselves how quickly the pile of garbage grew each day. They realized that if they wanted to save their beloved town, they had to do something about the food waste problem.

So, the children went back home and started making changes. They asked their parents to only cook what they could finish, and to keep leftovers in reusable containers instead of throwing them out. They also learned how to compost their fruit peels and vegetable scraps, turning them into rich soil for gardens instead of letting them rot in the landfill.
