So this is Part 2. We were talking about the twins and their friends were forced to sleep in the car because there’s a storm. Now, let’s get on with the story!
“Is the storm getting any better, Dad?” Emilia asked when she woke up in the middle of the night. “Sorry honey, it’s not over yet, get back to sleep and we’ll look forward for a sunny day tomorrow,” Dad replied. Then, Emilia fell asleep, wishing for a sunny day tomorrow.

The next morning, however, the weather was still wet, although the storm had gone, but it’s still raining. “Wake up, kiddos,” Dad called. “Is the storm gone?” Marco asked sleepily. “Yes Marc, but there’s bad news. There’s still rain,” “Uh, I just hate rain,” Coraline said. “Come on, have some breakfast, since I can’t make a fire, I use our electricity stove. But, you know, the batteries’ almost dead and I wanted to save some batteries for later, we’ll have only bread and cereal,” Dad said. So they ate, trying not to imagine what will happen if they’ll be stuck in the car all camping trip.

After hours of waiting, the rain stopped. The kids all jumped for joy. But then, Emilia thought of something. “Dad, if we will be sleeping in the tent, the ground is wet!” “Oh, of course, I brought a very big cushion just in case,” Dad said, “come on boys, let’s put the cushion on the ground, girls, set the table and everything outside,” “Got it,” the friends said. So then, they helped Dad reset everything. Finally, it’s time for lunch. The ground was almost dry when they’d finished lunch, it was because of the burning sunlight that replaced the storm.

That night, the group had lit a campfire and started heating hot dogs and s’mores on the fire under the starry sky. “Finally, we have a day beside the campfire,” Easton said. “Thoshe sh’mores are sho yummy,” Marco said with a mouthful of s’mores. “Those hot dogs are yummy too, here have some, Marc. Stop eating the s’mores, I haven’t even tried one!” Emilia said to Marco. Laughter filled the whole campsite, but then Coraline got a mosquito bite. “Ouch!” Cora shouted. “Here, have some mosquito medicine, you won’t have mosquito bites anymore,” Dad said.

It’s time for bed, Cora and Emilia will be sleeping in one tent, while Dad, Marc, and Easton will be sleeping in the other tent. “Good night,” Dad said after they’ve eaten dinner. “I’m so full I think I wouldn’t be able to eat candies ever again,” Marco said. “You say that every time when you’ve eaten to much candies!” Easton laughed. But in the girls’ tent, something weird is going on. “Did you hear that?” Emilia asked Coraline. “Hear what?” “That noice,” “You’ve probably eaten too much,” Cora said. “Whatever,” Emilia said then went to sleep.

A bit past midnight, Emilia woke up again. She went to her dad’s tent. “Dad, did you hear that?” “Hear what? But anyways, let’s go check,” Dad suggested. So Dad and Emilia went out to check and there’s nothing but dark and quiet. “What was that noise?” Emilia asked, confused. “It’s probably some raccoons, now go back to sleep,” Dad said. But after a while, the noise started again. “Oh my, I will need to go find Dad,” Emilia muttered to herself. When she went into Dad’s tent, he was asleep and the sound was coming from right there. “Zzz,” “Silly me, it’s just Dad’s snoring,” Emilia said. Then she slept with sweet dreams.
