Once upon a time...
There was a girl named Sasha and she loved spending time outside enjoying nature. One of her favorite things to do was play with her gray cat Smokey. Sasha and Smokey would play ball outside forever until her parents would force her to come in at the end of the night.

Sasha loved to watch the birds fly high into the trees and care for her babies in her nest. She also enjoyed looking at the squirrels and chipmucks climbing up tree trunks and retrieving nuts from the ground. She even liked observing the creepy crawly bugs on the ground. Because of this she decided that her dream was to become a veterinarian one day.

Sasha and her family loved to travel around the world. Sasha's favorite place to travel was to the ocean because she loved ocean life. She would take Smokey and they walk along the shoreline together and soak up the sun. Smokey would chase the seagulls while Sasha would collect seashells and watch for dolphins. Dolphins were her favorite animal of them all.

Sasha's parents would let her and Smokey take their sailboat out on the water. Sasha would look out at the dolphins jumping in the water while Smokey would swim in the water and watch the fish. Many times, Sasha would have to remind Smokey to not eat the fish in the water. Sasha respected the lives of every living thing on the planet so she would tell him, "don't eat the fish they have a purpose on this earth just like you do!"

Sasha and Smokey's boat rides were usually pretty normal. But one day, she saw something strange out in the distance. As the mysterious thing drifted closer and closer she recognized that it was a dolphin. But the dolphin wasn't swimming which was very strange. Once it got close enough to see them the dolphin called out, "hey I need some help!"

Sasha had never seen anything like this before. The dolphin was tangled in what looked like was plastic trash. "Could you please help me get this off," the dolphin asked, "I cannot swim with it on me." Sasha responded, "Yes we can help you, but how did this happen?" The dolphin went on to explain that she has gotten tangled in trash many times throughout her life. "It's just a part of living in the ocean nowadays," the dolphin explained.

The dolphin also told Sasha, "I feel sad that humans have started throwing so much of their garbage in the water. It's very harmful for me and my other friends who live in the ocean." Sasha was shocked to hear that humans were the cause of so much trouble and pain for the animals who live in the ocean. It made her sad that people could be so careless without thinking about the consequences. After swimming to the dolphin and getting her out of the trash Sasha made a promise to her.

Sasha said, "I promise, I am going to make sure that something like this is prevented from happening again. I want to keep the ocean as clean as possible for you and your friends." From that day forward, Sasha became invested keeping the ocean as clean as possible. She became a spokesperson and traveled around the country telling everyone the importance of keeping waterways clean for the safety of all animals.

Hi everyone, I'm here to talk to you about keeping our oceans safe!
