Lets' s start with a short example.
Two students who come from different school take part in the high school intrance examination then they were assigned to different classes. Student A is from one school which is in a remote and backward village without high speed internect or good textbooks. While student B is from a modern city with high-speed internet and abundant learning resources.

Think about the previous example.
Do you think this placement test is fair for two students? Or are they being treated equally?
So in this example, we can see that the educators did not consider these two students' special situation.
Because they are from two places which have a big difference. It means that two students may have quite different academic performance and it is hard for them to reach the same goal in class.
The definition of equity:
As a teacher, we should recognize that people is different, we shpould provide students teaching resources that students really need. Recognizes individuals' difference and aims to provide fair treatment by considering their unique circumstances.
What should we do?
In class, teachers should try to allocate resources evenly to each student. For example, when using computers or other devices, take turns giving each student access and ensuring that they share the same amount and quality of teaching materials and tools.
In terms of resource allocation, equity requires teachers to arrange each student's seat reasonably and ensure that each student can enjoy a good learning environment and conditions. At the same time, when assigning homework or exams, teachers should set tasks of appropriate difficulty according to students' actual level and ability differences, so as to ensure that every student has the opportunity to fulfill his/her potential.
what is equality?
Equality refers to the state of being equal, where everyone is treated exactly the same regardless of their individual circumstances or needs. It emphasizes uniformity and ensures that all individuals have access to the same opportunities and resources.
