What do psychologists do and how to become a psychologist
Psychologists use various techniques to help children or even adults cope with improving their mental state. They are essentially helping people improve their mental health which can also improve physical health considering it can sometimes get hard to take care of yourself physically when struggling mentally.
Psychologists need a bachelor's degree, Four to Six years of graduate school, One year of internship during graduate school, A national exam and additional exams, and in most states one year of supervised practice before becoming a licensed Psychologist.

Work Hours and Time Commitment for this job
The work hours for this job tend to be around 40 hours a week However, depending on the type of work you choose to do you can very much exceed that expectation. You can also spend a good chunk of time outside of work researching a certain topic and start or finish developing a treatment plan. Most of the treatment plan is done with the patient but some of the hours can flow into your home life as well. You also have to have very high communication expectations for this job considering a huge portion of the job is socializing. Socializing could also spill outside of work hours if a patient my need to contact you regarding their mental health or appointments. It is a pretty huge time commitment.
Psychology Salary per year and benefits
The average salary for a Psychologist is $95,477 per year however, that amount can vary depending on the type of Psychology career you decide on. Some benefits that come along with this job are health insurance, Extra retirement fund money, and in some cases student loan grievances which is a big long-term effect.
How complicated this job can be
Many Psychologists have to get used to taking a lot of notes or creating treatment plans which can be complicated if you don't have much prior knowledge on certain illnesses. This job can be very complicated or very easy depending on the person.
This job can be complicated depending on what you do. There are many different types of psychology that can be more or less complicated than a simple therapist.
