Fir ("eglė" in Lithuanian) is an important tree in our country. Eglė is actually a girl's name in here. That explains one of the most famous tales in Lithuania is called "Fir (Eglė) - the queen of snakes".


Our school's name is "Eglutė" which translates to "little fir". Here on the left is our school's symbol.

Firs produce pine cones which we often use in our school as a natural materials from nature.
Firs are very beautiful trees. They can grow up to 60 meters tall.
The tallest fir in Lithuania is 44,3 meters tall and is more than 100 years old!
