Bob's summer home is an empty hotelhidden behind a mountain in the
north-western plains of the Tanezrouft
desert that he won in a game of
Cosmic Wimp Out.

He found a nifty ninja suit in the attic so he decided to take on being a Ninja as a hobby.
He buys only the best, so he's going to four
different specialty shops and getting two
things at each store
He's taking his turkey, George

The y-intercept of this story is (0,1).
This represents that Bob had 1 of the things
` he needed before he went shopping
(His ninja suit)
Math Concept: y-intercept

Bob decided to go to the nearest store first. Sally
the Samurai's Shack of Shiny Sharp things.
It was on the other side of the mountain.

Math concept: slope
The slope for this story is +2.
This represents that Bob will have
2 more ninja necessities each time
he goes to a shop.

He bought a titanium steel Katana
and three excessively fancy Kunai knives.
Remember, only the best for Bob's money.

SHARP THINGS

Math Concept: slope intercept form The slope intercept form of this story is
y=2x+1.
This represents that Bob started with
1 ninja necessity and has a rate of
change of plus 2.

Next, Bob went to the Ice Castle of Icy Solitude and Sobering Slipperiness.
He bought a genuine Batman approved utility belt
and grappling hooks

Math Concept: point slope formAt this point in our equation, the point slope form is
y-5 = 2(x-2).
This includes our slope of two and the point (2,5),
which represents that Bob has gone to
two stores and has 5 ninja necessities.
