This book is dedicated to my LORD Jesus, my family, my friends Caitlyn, Eusebia and Solomon and my amazing teachers at ACC.
This story is about me overcoming my fear of heights, going with my school leadership team and the setting is true, although the plot has most bits that are adapted to be more entertaining.

I was on the bus, on the way to the treetop obstacle course. As we stopped, the teacher said to everyone, "If anyone is afraid of heights, push yourself out of your comfort zone! Give it a go! You can start with the easiest, but face your fears!", he said in a supportive tone. I gulped. Even though he said it to everyone, I couldn't help but think that it was directed at me. I then got out. It was hot and humid, and felt like our skin was baking in the sun, and our hair was being steamed, like broccoli. It felt like an eternally long walk to get to the place where we geared up with what felt like a ton of safety equipment. Then, I asked everyone who was with me about what level of difficulty the course they were going to attempt was, and all my friends and acquaintances said, "We are going to do the most difficult one". In a heartbeat this made me feel as though I was the only one who was afraid of heights in the whole group. The words "push yourself out of your comfort zone" rang in my ears, as I walked to the start point of the easiest obstacle course. But there was a problem!
The easiest obstacle course was closed for repair! "This is BAD", I thought to myself, "I am already really scared but now I have to go on an even higher one?" I then started toward the slightly harder and higher obstacle course. I started to walk toward the starting point. I climbed the ladder, and looked down as I saw my teachers and park staff looking up at me and cheering me on! They looked like tiny insects wearing orange safety coats. I gulped. I was higher in the air than I had imagined. I mustered up some more courage to do the tightrope, and then continued a cycle of getting stuck, mustering up courage and conquering the obstacles until suddenly, I GOT STUCK!, but this time it felt like it was for good. I tried, and tried again to climb the blue rope structure but did not even get past the first step in the rope! "This is futile", I said to myself, about to ask the staff to get me down. Then suddenly, I found a newfound confidence, and I tried again. But it was no use, I could not get through!
