CLIMATE CHANGE is the significant variation of average weather conditions becoming, for example, warmer, wetter, or drier—over several decades or longer. It is the longer-term trend that differentiates climate change from natural weather variability.
Nur Banur Suvari

CLIMATE CRISIS: The serious and urgent challenges posed by global climate
change, weather extremes, biodiversity
loos and socioeconomic disruptions.
Halenur Suvari

Azra Suvari

CRITICAL THRESHOLD: In the field of environmental science, critical thresholds are used to identify points at which ecosystems or natural processes may undergo irreversible changes or collapse. These thresholds can relate to factors like temperature, biodiversity loss, or pollution levels.
Beyza Suvari

CARBON EMISSIONS: Carbon emissions are the release of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. They come from burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. They contribute to climate change.
Aysima Suvari

CARBON FOOTPRINT:Carbon footprint is a measure of the damage human activities cause to the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.
Aleyna Suvari
FOSSIL FUELS include coal, petroleum, natural gas, oil shales, bitumens, tar sands, and heavy oils. All contain carbon and were formed as a result of geologic processes acting on the remains of organic matter produced by photosynthesis, a process that began in the Archean Eon (4.0 billion to 2.5 billion years ago).
Halenur Suvari

GREENHOUSE EFFECT: The process through which heat is trapped near Earth's surface by substances known as 'greenhouse gases.' Imagine these gases as a cozy blanket enveloping our planet, helping to maintain a warmer temperature than it would have otherwise. Greenhouse gases consist of carbon dioxide, methane, ozone, nitrous oxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and water vapor.
