Thank you Marlene for the patience to let me write and finish this booklet.
I always wanted to write a children's book. This is the first book in the series of Max and Lilly's adventures.
I can't wait to start working on the second adventure.
Gerrie Keen

Max and Lilly, two adventurous friends, decided to embark on a journey through the enchanted forest. They packed a bag with snacks and set off on their adventure.

Lilly
Max

As they walked, they came across a friendly donkey. "Look, Lilly!" exclaimed Max. "Let's count the donkey." They counted, "One," as the donkey slowly walked past them.

1 (One)

Further along the path, they found a pair of squirrels chasing each other. "Let's count the squirrels, Max!" said Lilly. They counted, "One, two," as the squirrels darted between the trees.

2 (Two)

Their next discovery was a family of ducks swimming in a pond. "Let's count the ducks, Lilly!" suggested Max. They counted, "One, two, three," as they watched the ducks paddling in the water.

3 (Three)

Continuing their journey, they spotted a group of flowers blooming by the roadside. "Let's count the flowers, Max!" exclaimed Lilly. They counted, "One, two, three, four," as they admired the colorful blooms.

4 (Four)

As they ventured deeper into the forest, they heard a rustling in the bushes. They peeked through the leaves and saw a family of rabbits hopping around. "Let's count the rabbits, Lilly!" whispered Max. They counted, "One, two, three, four, five," as the rabbits played in the grass.

5 (Five)

Their adventure led them to a clearing where they found a tree with delicious apples hanging from the branches. "Let's count the apples, Lilly!" suggested Max. They counted, "One, two, three, four, five, six," as they picked the apples from the trees.

6 (Six)
As the sun began to set, Max and Lilly sat down to rest. They looked back on their journey and realized that they had counted from one to six in the most magical way. They knew that there were more adventures and counting to be done tomorrow.

And so, Max and Lilly returned home, their hearts full of joy and their minds full of memories from their counting journey.
